In summary

Green Hills Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained fairways and greens, challenging layout with a mix of hole lengths, and friendly, accommodating staff. Many visitors appreciate the course's overall condition and the attentive groundskeeping. However, some criticisms include the course's pricing compared to other local options and occasional issues with green and bunker conditions.

The course was great, many twists and turns and multiple blind shots. I would encourage any new golfer at the course to scout the holes before teeing off. The long par 5s were paired with some very short par 3s and 4s which will challenge all parts of your game. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Loved the challenge each hole introduced. Great experience and would definitely go back.

Very good shape. Their greens were in excellent shape, as good as we've played anywhere this year.

Great Spot to play a round of golf. Great Shape year round, big, receptive greens. Russ is the man and will bend over backwards to make you happy. Pace of play is great and the members are friendly. Not a fan of their Membership system. But

It's an excellent course. Very well maintained. Carts seemed very new. Fairways we're in great shape. A couple greens had minor issues but really no big deal. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Fairways and greens were both very wide lots of room for those errant shots. Great experience.

Great time on the links today. My first time at Green Hills, after finding them as part of the Great Life management group. Had a great initial interaction with the course manager where he explained the origins of the course saying back to 1993. I found the tee boxes, fairways and greens to be overall well maintained. Fairways were interestingly designed with great mounding and moguls bordering each side on many holes. Greens rolled perfectly true and quick. Some dry spots on a few, and a bit scorched around some greens - But is August in Central Missouri... to be expected. Good value at $3…

Very friendly staff, David was super nice to talk with. Greens a little scratchy due to heat, but quick and true. Bunkers were pretty rough. Very playable course though, and you are rewarded by good shots. Will play again when in the area.

Staff was very friendly. Course was in great shape. They had some rain and wind damage that was being worked on but it didn't disrupt our play. We really love this "Links" type Course. ♥

Great hospitality. Dave, the Mgr will work with you any way he can to accommodate you. Nice course. Challenging but golfers of all skill levels will enjoy it. We came from NE Iowa for some early golf and the experience was so good will plan on making it an annual event.

Was in town for the weekend for a wedding and was pleasantly surprised to find a Great Life course minutes from my hotel. The guy at the counter realized I was from another Great Life course from out of town and handed me a guide book letting me know there are some blind shots. The course is extremely well maintained and I haven't putted on greens that rolled so true in a very long time. I was looking to kill some time on a Saturday morning and was not sure of what to expect from this course but everything was in tip top shape. There were some dead spots on the course but those only appeared w…

Great staff from Dave the mgr. to the coarse maintence staff. Little high on green fees,,but considering kids play free its reasonable. Clean, friendly, overall a great time. Will certainly return again.

There is no fairway. The whole course is basically unattended plains with greens scattered around. The greens are bare, have dirt patches and are covered in sand. The bunkers are just that, concrete…with standing water (even when it hasn’t rained in days). The tee boxes are so hard you need a hammer to get a tee into most of them. The entire course is just rock hard dirt, partially covered by clumps of crab grass.
