In summary

Green Meadows Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained 9-hole layout, which is ideal for both beginners and those looking to practice their short game. The course features a mix of par 3 and par 4 holes, offering a pleasant balance of challenge and accessibility, alongside scenic views and a welcoming atmosphere for families. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow play due to bottlenecks and have experienced dissatisfaction with the attitude of certain staff members, particularly regarding the handling of tee times and customer service.

I live close so this is a great course to play a quick round for me. Casual or new golfers are welcomed but the employees also do a great job of making sure there are no serious backups and delays. Great value for the money, the course is in good shape, there are a few bunkers, some water, and you can use a driver on the first three holes. They sell beer and have two nice putting/chipping greens.

Had a great round on Friday afternoon, playing with warmer than usual temperatures. All the greens were smooth and fast with plenty of sunshine. I will be back soon.

What a wonderful experience I had for my birthday. They were able to accommodate 12 players and we played back to back to back. Tremendous staff. Highly recommended

Been going here for years and it's our favorite course. The pro shop is great to deal with. Course is well groomed.

Dude in the Pro Shop on Wednesday July 2nd 2025 absolutely scammed me and my friends. Told him we were under 18 and said it’s too late you guys are paying 22$ when it should’ve been 17$. This dude was also gatekeeping the first hole and took 30 min to make the transaction so it delayed my tee time about an hour.

Great 9-hole course well maintained. 3 par 4’s and 6 par 3’s. Would come back.

This course always seems to play slowly and will find yourself waiting somewhere as there are a few bottlenecks. Also we have seen a flood of single players sent out and makes the fun for a foursome deflate even if you are playing quickly because it’s a hurry up and wait course. Played it many times now and probably won’t be coming back anytime soon.

This course is great for beginners. They are so welcoming to the younger kids. I’ve taken my grandsons there multiple times from age 4 and they made all of us feel like they were happy we came.

Great 9 hole county course run by folks with a welcoming attitude. It is a good course to learn how to play golf and/or to work on your short game. There are three par 4s followed by six par 3s, all with their own challenges. Use the Dupage Golf app to book tee times at a discounted price. The practice greens are nice but there is no driving range.

Honestly, the course is solid but the management/staff are really unkind. We intentionally took the last tee time time because we were full of beginners. Yet even with that, we were utterly rushed at the last hole with management staring us down. That being said, the staff was grumpy right from the start, they seemed exasperated at us being there. It was an unpleasant experience for beginners. It’s probably totally fine for more experienced players but I wouldn’t recommend it for beginners looking to have a positive, supportive time. We will find a nicer local course to support next time!
