In summary

Greystone Golf Course is highly praised for its beautiful and challenging layout, well-maintained greens, and friendly staff, providing a semi-private experience despite being a public facility. Visitors appreciate the scenic views, quality food and beverage options, and overall course condition. However, some criticisms include issues with drainage and slow pace of play during peak times.

My husband and I played here this past weekend and it blew us away! The course is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, challenging, but worth the effort! Pace of play was very well managed, and the staff was SO friendly from time we checked in to the time we turned our cart in. We can’t wait to play here again!! It’s officially our new favorite course

Beautiful course! Felt like a country club. Great layout, tough greens, great early-ish season conditions. 100% will play here again next time I'm in the area

Course is spectacular. Very hard course but super fun. Par 3's are great. Best hotdog I've ever had at the turn on a golf course. If you want a fun but challenging round go play this course.

Excellent shape with very fast greens which is my preference. The staff, pro shop and starter, were very cordial and I look forward to playing the course again.

Awesome staff and difficult (but fun) layout! Easy drive across the MD line if you're coming from South Central, PA.

🏌️‍♂️ Just had my first round at Greystone and wow, I'm hooked! The layout is a dream come true for golfers seeking both challenge and fun. Even though the greens were being aerated, they were still in tip - top shape. This municipal course gives off that fancy country club vibe. Every hole is a test of skill, but in a way that just makes you want to keep coming back for more. The greens? Tough as nails, but that's part of the thrill. I played in a Young Life tournament here, and the course was in perfect condition. The carts were clean and comfy. And the restaurant and bar? A total win! The…

Top tier public golf experience. Only thing it was missing were the back tees being set up, and a grass driving range. Place is awesome. Incredibly difficult. It feels like a semi-private experience. Will be back for sure.

Hidden gem in northern Baltimore County. This county owned facility is the jewel in the crown. Has a great restaurant facility with incredible views of the course and surrounding area. It’s a tough course but definitely worth the drive.

Beautiful layout. That’s about all the positive. Course drains horribly. No notice of cart path only. Wasted extra $20 for a cart. Should have just walked. Fairways are like ponds. Mud on the ball on every shot. Nobody fixes divots on the greens. They also don’t pace play. AT ALL. 5+hrs is pathetic. Rather take up another hobby. For $100 I’d expect far better. Definitely not returning
