In summary

Gunters Landing Golf Club is frequently praised for its scenic views, challenging and unique course layout, and well-maintained greens and fairways. The staff is noted for being friendly and accommodating, and the course offers good value for its price, with amenities like cart rentals and a well-stocked clubhouse. However, some golfers have mentioned issues with the greens' condition and the difficulty of the course, which can be challenging for less experienced players.

The photo is #10 par 3. This is an example of the elevation this course has. It is very challenging but also fair. Most of the fairways are pretty wide. Several holes that water come into play. Several scenic views of the tennessee river. Staff and golfers are very friendly. Residence , who live around the course , are very friendly too especially if you make a wrong turn. I can't wait to get back out there.

My new favorite course just south of Huntsville and a steal for $40 (cart included). Not very long or difficult if you are accurate with your irons. Use the slopes to your advantage 😉

We enjoyed the convenience of cart rental, with cooler and complimentary ice. We had some time before our tee time, and we're able to get some practice swings at the driving range. There is a practice putting green also, but we did not have time to stop there. The course was magnificent and incredibly challenging and fun. There were lots of hills, the cart path was clear, and the other golfers were friendly. There is a confusing split at the 7th hole, but thanks to a couple of other golfers, we found our way.

Got out on Saturday morning and course was in great shape especially considering the amount of rain they'd had earlier in the week. Well stocked clubhouse & friendly staff. We always play the course when we are in the area.

I have played this course 2x over the past few weeks. Staff is very warm, clubhouse/pro shop is well stocked. Prices are very reasonable, the course is not just BEAUTIFUL but very well maintained. Carts all seem new and in great shape. I haven’t played anywhere else since moving to the area but like they say, when you find your car keys, do you keep looking for them? Can’t wait until the early fall when the humidity breaks! See you again soon

Course was a little wet but playable. Greens a little slow even for this time of year. Great folks to work with. We play pretty often there.

Amazing course! Get ready for some fast greens and cart paths though! Look forward to it every year!

A fun track perched on the edge of the Tennessee River. The amount of undulation on through the course is astonishing. Four great par threes, with island greens, carries over valleys, makes for a unique experience. The greens were in great shape and rolled true. A few low areas had standing water but based on how much rain there has been this winter its hard to complain. A must play if you are in the area.

Played 18 for just over $20 as a student. One of the nicest courses I've played that has some of the coolest par 3s and 4s I've ever seen. It has a couple holes where the tee box is 40-60 feet above the fairway which make for interesting tee shots. Greens, fairways, and bunkers are all nice and maintained.

One of the best bang for your buck courses in AL. Great views of the lake and lots of slopes and mountains. Greens are in great shape and course is well kept.

One of the best places to play. Tough front 9 with amazing views. Not badly priced in my opinion. Most definitely want to play this pace again.
