Hammond Golf & Country Club

Had lunch on the patio last Sunday. The grilled chicken, avocado and bacon sandwich on sour dough bread with fries… absolutely delicious. I also enjoyed the Prosecco Sangria. Ice cubes with frozen fruit. Excellent. Overlooking the course. Brilliant.

I have both golfed and eaten at the Hammond golf and country club many times. It is a nice place to visit a nice place to play and a nice place to eat lots of great staff a well-maintained course and very beautiful surroundings

Delicious lunch, beautiful lunch, and great service! We have previously come here with friends and family, and it never disappoints! Eat a lot and then go for a walk ;) Recommend everything! ...ahhh and the beer is a must too!

Good restaurant with a good beer selection and really good food. The Calamari is a really interesting take on that dish, they use chunks of tender squid rather than rings, but this was the highlight of the meal for me. I also hand wings which were really nicely done 4 stars because the meal was good but as a group of 14 in a not very busy restaurant, it was a really long wait and they do not appear to have a proper POS/ordering system so nothing tracking who ordered what from where, lots of confusion when food comes out. Wonderful service.. very clean. High ceilings and excellent ventilation. A classic sports styled bar and restaurant. Breakfast was delicious and can be modified to suit your wishes....for a price. (Be quite clear when ordering; they do not do substitutions without charging additional amounts. Many places will trade toast for something else, without an additional charge, not here. Haven't played here in years as it was always booked up. Course in great shape, but it ain't cheap anymore. 2 golfers in a powercart $175.00. Lots of course competition at that price.

The golf course was in a great condition! Also, their food at the restaurant was really good in quality and generous in quantity. I loved the fried calamari and the pizza, especially. Dandy Lion was a very unique flavorful smooth beer. I would love to come back to this golf club!

Great prices for a great country track. It's been a heck of a season with the heavy rains, which has been tough on the fairways, but they are doing their best! Bonus with the awesome food, servers, and beer after your rounds.

Had beers at Broken Stick Brewery. A New England IPA and New England Pale Ale. Both were excellent! The staff was friendly and the setting beautiful as we sat out on the patio by a fire. We were also allowed to have our dogs there with us!

Play here often. When I went, it was the beginning of the season, so it was very wet. No carts aloud. Everything needs some TLC on the corse. But overall, it's still a decent place and will be coming back again and again. Also has a brewery ( broken stick ) that has some nice beers. Oh, and bring bug spray. You're gonna need it.

Stellar food, stellar service. Perhaps the best pizza and burgers in the Ottawa area. The pizza is up there with the best in the city. Well fermented dough, perfect char for that deep flavour, and delightfully chewy. The toppings are fantastic and creative, but a good dough and a hot oven can truly transform a pizza into something superb. The burger though. The burger. Easily the best I’ve had in the city. The food is delicious, the presentation and taste are excellent. A great place for winter outdoor activities, some golf during the summer.
