In summary

Harmony Ridge Golf Club is appreciated for its friendly staff, affordable pricing, and a welcoming atmosphere for beginners, with a bar and restaurant that receive positive mentions. However, many visitors express concerns about the course's maintenance, citing issues such as overgrown fairways, unkempt tee boxes, and the presence of construction equipment. While the course has potential and some historical significance, there is a general consensus that it requires significant upkeep to enhance the overall playing experience.

Today we went to the worst golf course in Beaver County. Let me start with the positives first… they had a desk worker, they had hot dogs rolling on the mini grill, and the cart worked fine. (Please keep in mind this course was $24 for nine holes of golf). When you make it to the first tee box (and all the tee boxes for that matter) expect to find dirt, holes, and no where clean to tee your ball. Next, expect construction equipment on one of the holes, yes, heavy construction equipment on the golf course. Fairways are 4/10 and greens are 3/10. Man, do I hope they use that $24 to fix up this co…

Henry Fownes, the founder and designer of Oakmont Country club, once said "Let the clumsy, the spineless, the alibi artist stand aside. A shot poorly played, should be a shot irrevocably lost." Harmony Ridge takes this idea and expands on it to the maximum. (Mr. Fownes is listed on the website as co designer along with his son, W.C. Fownes, and Emil Loeffler. ) Given Mr. Fownes fondness of punishing golfers, I am sure he would appreciate Harmony Ridges ability to not only punish bad shots but also the good ones too. The rough is penal to say the least but the fairways will also punish you dep…

Very pleasant staff! Even after arriving late for a tee time, I was happily welcomed and on the first tee box in 15min. Concessions were reasonably priced, with multiple options for dinning before or after your round. Excellent for beginners, as there is not a lot of water to worry about losing balls in. A variety of short-medium length holes provide excellent practice for all skill levels. The greens were very respectable, given a lack of rain over the past few weeks. Sand traps were in great shape.

This course could be pretty decent if it was owned by someone who was a little more willing to invest in maintaining it. There are large bald spots in greens and fairways, the tee boxes are rough, there are several inexplicable unmowed areas, and rusty, abandoned heavy equipment scattered around the course. The greens were exceedingly slow and squishy, with lots of clover and unfixed ball marks as well. A little more investment and professionalism from the groundskeepers would go a long way. Fittingly, the carts are old, slow, and generally beat up as well. There are 3 holes on this 9 hole co…

Great location for golf for beginners. The bar and restaurant is awesome. Cheap drinks. Great food. Great service. The owners are really trying hard - give them a try. You get what you pay for on the course but it fit the bill for a great day of golf with a drink and food after.

This course has a lot of history but don’t let it fool you. This is no longer a country club or kept to that standard. There’s so much potential in this place but something has to give. $24 to play 9 with a cart is ridiculously high for the quality. Theres construction equipment all around the course and the sand bunkers are hard and unkept. The sand probably hasn’t been changed in years. Fairways aren’t really cut that great. I’ve shot out of the rough at other courses that is shorter than the fairway grass here. Tee boxes are unkept as well. Divots everywhere and pretty much no grass. You’…

I wasn’t going to leave a review but I felt too bad not. This is the worst course I’ve ever played by far. I would rather play in my uncut grass at home. In fact I haven’t mowed in two weeks and it’s still shorter than the fairways here. It is sad. This course has amazing potential and if the grass was even remotely under control I would have been happy. A dead center fairway drive felt like you were hitting out of oakmonts rough. It is a shame that this place has been ran into the ground after 100+ years.

Good practice facility. Not busy at certain times where you can play several balls. Weekends are busy with beginner golfers especially on a Sat or Sunday morning.

Absolutely awful. I don't know where to begin Mabye with the fact that we called ahead and the gentleman answered the phone saying we would be good playing at 2:30. When we arrived the man had said the tee time got pushed back to 3 o clock (which that was a lie) tee boxes where absolutely garbage with little to no grass and the fairways were just awful. The ( little to no) cart path was rocks, and the part that was concrete looked like it had not been touched in years. The rough around the green was at least 4 to 5 inches tall and unplayable. The greens were not cut very well at all and made i…

Worst course I’ve ever played. Nothing is kept up with and needs watered and mowed. 24 dollars to play on hard thick ground is an actual scam. Greens are cracking due to them being so dry. Couldn’t pay me to go back honestly. They care too much about their bar then the course. If they cared they would have more business so it doesn’t even make sense

Cozy bar-restaurant with outdoor seating. Their nachos were homemade and overall amazing!

The worst golf course I’ve ever played, if you want to hit into fairways that are 3 inches thick while the groundskeeper drives right infront of you with no care in the world…. Play here. Absolute joke of a course, and the owners should think about closing down this trash can of a place they call a golf course.
