Hartefeld National Golf Course

I recently played at Hartefeld National and was really impressed. The course offers a great mix of both easy and challenging holes, and I shot one of my best scores of the season. The greens were rolling perfectly, like glass, which made for an enjoyable round. Afterward, I dined at the restaurant, and the food was fantastic—definitely a great way to wrap up the day. I was able to play through a reciprocal golf agreement and am already looking forward to my next round. Highly recommend this course!

Just joined Jan 2024 and so far the experience has been very nice. Both Madison and Josh were fantastic helping answer initial questions and making us feel welcome! Only played the course once but it was in great shape when I did play.

The course is well maintained, open fairways, groomed greens and has some great views.

Don't trust the kitchen--- Hartefeld National Golf Club, 1 Hartefeld Dr. Avondale, May 30. Fail. Soups in hot holding were 120-125 degrees F rather than 135 degrees F or more. Soups were reheated. Do not store in use utensils in sanitizer. Utensils in the Show Kitchen must be store in water 135 degrees F or more. Kitchen: Clean behind the chest freezer and blender table. Repair hole in wall in this area as well. Basement: Clean under slicer table. Bowls being used as scoops in dry ingredients. Scoops with handles must be used. Show Kitchen: Drawer under chargrill were 43 degrees F. Foods were…

Beautiful course, great food and service in the clubhouse bar. Tina does a fantastic job with the bar cart on the course.

I went here for a bridal shower held outside on a very hot day. They provided one small stand fan. When asked for more fans, they brought another small fan and directed it towards the bartender. The water was at the table when we arrived and was warm by the time I went to drink it. I asked the one waiter they provided for 29 guests, and I was told to go to the bartender.

The perfect wedding venue! We had the best day/night of our lives at Hartefeld. The staff was nice and responsive, the food was great, and the venue space is naturally beautiful. Thank you so much, Hartefeld staff! I highly recommend booking your wedding here.

Had a wonderful time touring the facility with their membership director Stacy! Amazing amenities, super friendly members, and of course a challenging 18 holes in great shape. Definitely the best combination of golf and social activities in the area

Was there for a wedding. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. But my husband's steak was overly seasoned and well done(he prefers rare and it was requested). My meal was acceptable but not exceptional. Also there was huge puddles of rain water leaking on to guests through the awning over the bar. When made aware the staff member replied "Oh yeah that's been there." These are why I only.gave three stars.

Very nice Golf Club. The golf course is always in excellent condition. Nice challenging greens. Lots of evaluation changes. It's a challenging golf course too.

Second time for me to play this private course. Despite tough conditions (hard rain right up to the 11AM shotgun start) the course held up well. Great design, nice elevation changes, quick greens. Hoping for a sunny day next year.
