What People Say

In summary

Hawk Ridge Golf Course is appreciated for its picturesque setting, friendly staff, and challenging layout, with some visitors highlighting the well-maintained greens and enjoyable play. However, there are concerns about inconsistent course conditions, particularly with dry fairways and unkempt greens, as well as issues with booking transparency and pace of play. Some guests also express dissatisfaction with the value for the price, especially during peak times or when course maintenance falls short.

Made reservation for 1:00 sitting for Mother's Day.Spoke to person who took reservation and let them know that 1 person was vegan. Was assured that they would pass on that information. Arrived at 1:00. Sat until 2:00 before some came to take our order. Noticed that another party had arrived after us, and had received their food. Shortly after 2:00 , we were informed that they didn't have a vegan meal. Not happy about that. By 2:30 , still had not received any food. Called over manager to inform her that we were leaving. Very unprofessional. 1 -1/2 hours of apologies does not sit well.6 members…

We played the Meadows course and it has potential, however needs some better up keep. The fairways and tee boxes are all extremely dry- a lot of brown dead areas. No working washrooms on the course either. The staff are all very friendly and the layout has some challenges. If it was in better shape it would deserve a 4.

It was OK, the greens weren't bad but weren't great. Avoid the par 3 track. Even at $14, it wasnt worth it, except to warm up and get loose for swinging a club for the game on the 18 hole tracks. Food was OK, but good service.

We played the Hawk Ridge GC on Monday September 21st. The day started off with a 45 minute frost delay before our tee off on the Timber Ridge course. Our group had an UnderPar coupon and there was a disagreement in the pro shop as to why the course was not providing a cart for both golfers that were not in the same bubble. Despite the fact that we had played the course in July and they did honour carts for both golfers their decision to charge for a second cart in September did not go over well. Further they apparently were not willing to provide a cart for a replay round; a condition not not…

First experience here today, staff were nice the bistro is great. The course is a little worse for wear, understandable drought conditions but has not been looked after… they seem more concerned about selling houses than maintaining the course… too bad really, it has potential for sure

Great track! Very picturesque and somewhat forgiving. Great prices too! Easy to get at from Hwy 11.

Had a great time playing here. Challenging but still fun for everyday golfer. Went here during a long dry spell and greens were in amazing shape. Very well kept. Staff is also great! Unload your clubs right from your car for you and load onto cart while you go and pay. Definitely worth a round if you haven't played here before.

Played Hawk Ridge for the first time. The meadow nest course is nice. Bunkers are raked and in play. Staff were nice and offered a cooler bag for beverages to keep cool. I'm excited to try the other 18 hole course here.

Greens are clean and in great condition. We normally play Meadows Nest or Timber Ridge and find them pleasing and gives us a good challenge!

Honestly save your money. Paid $100 to play 18 holes with cart for a course that was in terrible condition. Tee boxes were dirt, fairway and greens were terrible. If your course is going to look like that, it should reflect the green fees. Extremely disappointed.
