We've been going to Horseshoe for an annual ski trip with our neighbours for 4 years now, and we've never been disappointed. The hills are always well-maintained, with a variety of runs for every skill level. Our son spends the majority of his time on the terrain park, which also has an assortment of rails, jumps, boxes, etc. for varying skill levels. There is seldom an extended wait for the lifts. Staff is great at filling the seats during busier periods. There is ample space for ski/snowboard storage. The indoor area quickly fills up, but is also large enough to accommodate large groups of p…

Had a fantastic time with my kids snowboarding today! 1. Sam in the tech shop was amazing. Fast, kind and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to make our time meaningful. 2. The instructors are helpful and eager to see people succeed 3. The staff prioritize safety and there is always one in sight to answer quotations for a beginner. We had a great time and would highly reccomend!

was pleasantly surprised by our stay at Horseshoe Valley after not visiting for many years. Despite heavy snowfall, the roads were well cleared and the ski hills were perfectly groomed. Lift lines were short and rentals were quick and easy. My grown kids enjoyed skiing, late-night organized snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing — all very well run. Tubing was sold out, so book early. We also loved relaxing by the outdoor fire pits in Muskoka chairs with hot chocolate. A great winter weekend getaway — we’ll definitely be back!

We had a lovely midweek stay with the Thrill and Chill package that includes free snow tubing, free snowshoeing and access to the cross country ski trails (rentals were an extra fee). We did snow tubing one evening and the hill was icy and the runs were fast and went all the way to the end, we tried tubing again the morning of checkout and because of a fresh falling of snow the runs down the hill were slower and shorter, two different experiences on the same hill. The pizzeria on site was delicious, even better than expected. Our room was comfortable and clean and staff were friendly and helpf…

We attended as a group of three for some tubing and the hill was in great condition! There was barely a line and it all seemed to flow very well. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food in the chalet was very good and prepared quickly. Would very much consider re-attending in the future!

This resort could be maintained way better than it is right now. The rooms on first floor are not good. The carpet, bed frame, furniture are all old. Additionally, it is a not a good time to be there when it is transition time between winter and summer, like April, as there is no beauty. The food was good. Service people were extremely friendly. Parking is a bit confusing but plenty. Overall, this resort needs some good work.

So I skied at Horseshoe Feb 15th 2026. Last time I skied here was aprox 33 years ago. Sad to see that they only have 1 high speed lift and they still have old lifts that are slow that they had 33 years ago. (Mt. St. Louis/Moonstone) put in a new high speed 8 seater for 24/25 winter and a new high speed 6 seater for 25/26 winter. Cmon Horseshoe. time for some upgrades. If htey can afford to upgrade their lifts so can you. Those old lifts have got to go. While there we ate at Crazy Horse Sports Bar & Grill. Very nice restaurant, great food, awesome service, amazing atmosphere. Mt St. Louis cafat…

We got the ski and stay package and booked a condo. It would have been a great experience had the condo been clean. We arrived to dishes in the dishwasher, food splatered on the cupboards, dirty dishes in the cupboards, dirt on the bathroom floor and the oven started smoking from it being dirty. Left a review to the hotel and have yet to receive a response. For the amount of money it cost I would rate it as a 2 star hotel.

I am a 18- year old girl’s Mom and my daughter had snowboard park instructor’s evaluation last week and one of the days had snow blizzard. So I booked a hotel room for her at horseshoe valley resort. Their service surprised me that they accommodated out special situation and especially when my daughter forgot her phone charger in the room but the cleaning lady had left for the day, Janet, the front desk lady was so kind to give my daughter her charger! She just simply said: if my daughter had such situation, I wish someone can lend her a charger so that she can navigate and drive home safely.…

Horseshoe resort was our home base for a weekend of adaptive mountain biking. We were well taken care of by the whole crew. They went out of their way to make the location wheelchair accessible and comfortable for our large group and families to stay for the weekend. The service at the patio and restaurant was fantastic. We had the opportunity to test out their bike patrol first aid services and they were top notch too! Thank you for welcoming our group, we will definitely be back 😊

The skiing was pretty good. Quite a few runs. The terrain park is a bit small right now. The food in the cafeteria was amazing value though. Hot dog bigger than a footling sub with a tub of fries and a soda was $16. It's great for beginners. The one problem is probably just how separate the two sides of the hill are, once you go to the far side it's a bit annoying to ski at the bottom back to the chalet. The good thing is lines are usually short and you get many runs in.
