First time here was on Father's day 2024. Only did 9 holes. It was busy, but relaxed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Course was well kept. Greens were very fast today. A very nice course and definitely worth a repeat.

I attended a Wedding recently at Orr Lake Golf and it was hands down the best venue & wedding I've attended! 120 guests, many travelling from overseas - the venue was both spacious and warm with a charm one could only dream of. The Golf Course itself was epic. We played several rounds and especially liked the Rock Feature near the 16th hole which gave Stonehenge vibes.

They’ve done a lot of great updates the last couple years, and prices have stayed competitive despite those upgrades! This year compared to last they’re doing a better job at not over booking which is nice. Staff are ALWAYS super friendly. Only annoyance is the waiver for new players. Instead of doing it in the pro shop there’s a staff member at the first hole and it’s a bit of a hassle to pull your phone out to complete the sheet. Understand the waiver- but emailing it in the pro shop, and having the option to do it there/parking lot, would help stop the lineup on the first.

Well managed course at very reasonable price.

Beautiful course and friendly staff. Except for one warden who came to my group and heckled us to “pick up the pace”, when no group had been pushing us the entire game. Not to mention we were on the second last hole, just about to finish our game. He told us he was watching on GPS. I asked the warden if his issue was that we weren’t playing to the pace he wanted, and he said yes. Despite the fact no one was on us. So just be wary about going here if you like to play casually and enjoy your game. A warden might come and tell you to pick up the pace, for no reason other than wanting you to play…

Greens and fairways were in great shape. Some tee blocks needed work with one being nothing but dirt. More than a few tee blocks were immaculate. This was our first time playing here and we thought there was a twilight policy and swung around for a 3rd 9 holes. The owner himself confronted us after 3 holes and we explained we didn't know, and offered to go pay for the additional golf. He said we were stealing from him and invited us to leave. Nice golf course. Quite well maintained. A bit challenge course for those non frequent players. But the golf carts here are old. My cart was dead on hole 14 (won't start) Need a replacement in the middle of the game. The group behind us also had a cart replacement at hole 13. 😫 It is time for them to upgrade the carts. Other than that, both my wife and I enjoyed the round. Happy to come back again in the future.

Located just north of barrie, this course offers both value and views. The back 9 has views of both orr lake and blue mountain. The greens and fairways are well maintained and offer challenges to both new players or seasoned golfers with their 4 tee boxes. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

Had a lot of fun here with my son - food was tasty - brisket - and the golf course wasn’t rushed which we real liked.

Don't bother playing here unless you have 6 or 7 hrs to try and play 18 holes. They have no marshals and they try to cram as many ppl as they can together. They have a bunch of doubles and single playing and don't group ppl up. Pace of play is atrocious. I wouldn't recommend and I will not be playing this course again for as long as I live. The owner replied. I was playing behind doubles and ppl were being bottle necked at tee blocks. I've also definitely had a few rounds that took 6 hrs. That being said, it doesn't matter because I won't be back.

Well maintained but tee times are very poorly managed. No starters out on the course to get the slow groups moving. These carts have trackers. Seems like a waste of money if they won't use them properly. Genuinely an infuriating experience. Shouldn't be waiting 10-20 min for each drive
