Held a tournament here. Excellent cooperation and planning assistance by staff. Participants told me they had golfed there years prior and found the course and clubhouse have been updated very nicely, that it was a pleasure to golf there.

Hazelton gets better every year! Nice 18 hole course with plenty of challenges for every level. Good people, fun leagues, very walkable and friendly staff.

Hazelwood is an 18 hole golf course. It has a number of different teeing options for players of all levels. It is fairly long and has difficult rough. Greens are in good condition, but currently some what slow for better players. Nice clubhouse and kitchen facilities are available.

Decent course layout but the conditions are just terrible. I don’t think the owners of this place even own a lawn mower. The grass was way too thick and fairways were barely identifiable. Also a lot of course maintenance that was started but never finished, like temporary tee boxes and detours on the cart path. Seems like a lack of labor issue.

I love trying courses that I haven't played yet. Today my foursome played Hazelton for the first time. This course is under new ownership in the past couple years and they seem to be making the effort. The club house is beautiful and seems like they will be rocking on Fridays and Saturdays with live music. The course is still work in progress. the Tees, greens, and Fairways are in good shape. That being said. The rough needs a lot of work as there are plenty of standing water spots that are dried out, clumps of grass that didn't even get cut when the mowers went by us, and basic appeal from la…

Played Hazelton on a whim over the summer. Wasn't expecting much as I was made aware that the new owners were in the process of putting work into the course to revive it. Upon playing it, you could tell that they had definitely redone the tee boxes and greens. Tee boxes were flat, level and in very good shape. The greens had lots of character, undulations and were also in very good shape. My biggest issue was the fairways as on many holes, there was no difference from rough to fairway. The course was also pretty soggy. I know they're putting more work and money into it so hopefully it becomes…
