In summary

Hidden Hollow Country Club receives praise for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and reasonable pricing, with many golfers appreciating the care taken by the owner and staff in maintaining the greens and fairways. However, some visitors have expressed dissatisfaction with the customer service, particularly regarding the treatment of beginners and certain policies that may seem unwelcoming to new players. Overall, while the course conditions are often highlighted positively, the club's approach to customer interactions has drawn criticism from a segment of its patrons.

my friend came to play with his girlfriend and they were turned away because she didn't have a bag, they went and got a bag, then were told they weren't allowed to go off because "she's a beginner". so my friend asked “how is a beginner supposed to get better then?"they said "go to the range", she has gone to the range several times and they have no way of knowing what her skill level is besides just making assumptions, they tried to say after that there was a league but then why didn't you just lead with that, also saw a man and his 5 year old son playing so there's that for a beginner. turni…

I went there the other day but Priscilla was closing up. I haven't been there in 18 yrs. she didn't recognize me. When I go back I will tell her who I am. I always liked the course. I highly recommend playing golf there.

Just recently played the course. Found it in very good shape. you can see that the owner takes good care of the course. From the tee boxes to the greens are well maintained. The layout has it challenging holes. It was a fun day of golf at hidden hollow.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COURSE. Worst course you will see in your life. Greens ? HORRIBLE, Tee boxes? HORRIBLE, Service? WORST IN NEW ENGLAND. Do yourself a favor and drive down the road to some of the better courses in the area. You couldn’t pay me to ever show up at this course again. I recommend them to sell at this point. TERRIBLE

I can’t say enough good about this course. Well maintained and perfectly taken care of. The owner really cares about the course and you can see that when you step onto the first tee.

I haven’t played HH in a few years. I’ve been playing at two local 18 hole courses both private and semiprivate. The conditions of HH are impeccable compared to them. The course is easily walkable. The layout has it all. Long and short holes. Up and downhill lies. Excellent greens. Outstanding bunkers. The only drawback is it’s 9 holes. However, that was quite navigable with little or no waiting. The green fees are more than fair. The owner/manager is such a wonderful lady. I highly recommend Hidden Hollow and I’ll definitely return.

Do NOT go to Hidden Hollow golf course. I never write reviews, but in this case I felt I had to. Yesterday I decided to make plans to go play golf with my girlfriend. I asked around, and many of my friends who have played this course before said it's great for beginners. Immediately when I arrived, I knew that there might be an issue; I forgot my girlfriend's golf bag at the house, and I know that some golf courses require a bag per person to play. As I walked toward the clubhouse, this came to fruition. I didn't even step in the building, and they told me to turn around; she wasn't allowed to…

I play here every Friday as a three some. Best course for the money asked. Staff is friendly if you go enough you are greeted by your first name always. Majority of the fairways are opened up so it's also a great course to learn on. Greens and fairways are impeccable, through out the course there is always some one doing something to maintain up keep. Great course great people great time.

Course is usually in good shape; the groundsmen do a good job. The lady at the front desk is not nice and just your presence and existence is enough to annoy her and it definitely reflects in her attitude towards you. If it weren’t for her, this course would be a 4/5.
