In summary

Heron Landing Golf Club is generally appreciated for its well-maintained course and accommodating staff, offering a relaxed atmosphere suitable for casual golfers. The course's shorter layout is ideal for quick rounds and practicing the short game. However, some visitors have reported issues with the behavior of marshals, feeling rushed or unwelcome, and noted that the course can become crowded, affecting the pace of play. Additionally, the cost of carts and other amenities has been considered high by some patrons.

The Most Awkward Server I've Had in Peterborough. Oh my goodness! It's just not the energy for me bruhhhhhh. They do not direct you to a seat so you kind of feel like the tables are off limits which then you feel like you have to ask if you can sit on the dining area. Yes, had to ask that. They don't ask how you are doing with the food. They don't give you water directly. You have to stand up & get it yourself from a jug they have in the corner. It's just bad service & they don't have an online menu. But I will say this, the Clubhouse Sandwich was perfect. The food was perfect & the interior…

I will not come back to this golf course. I took my son here for his birthday. He loves to golf , but we both are not avid golfers. We had 9 am tee time which we were grouped with another couple, which was fine. At the first hole we were met by two older gentleman. The one gentleman was rushing us to get started because they had other golfers waiting as well. After we teed off the other gentleman told us not to listen to the man, and to just enjoy ourselves. We got to about the 5th or 6th hole and this man came along again. He called me over to complain we were going to slow, that we should ha…

Great course. Well maintained. Nice to play a shorter course sometimes.

Absolutely love this course. The driving range is great for warming up, and the staff are always extremely nice and accommodating. We played the back nine holes later in the day and we were able to relax and not have to worry about being rushed by staff. I realize this might not be the go-to for expert golfers, but it's great for people like me that want to go out there, play some golf and be in a relaxed atmosphere.

Great little course! Would give it 5 stars if there cart rentals weren't too expensive. A couple of the holes are really far apart so when you walk about 2 or 3 of the holes are about a 3 minute walk apart. Other then that course is usually in great shape and fun to play. It is smaller but you can use your driver on majority of the holes! There driving range is great!

Not a bad course. I recommend that people who are able to walk a course and want to play 9 or 18 holes to avoid using the power cart provided, considering it is an additional 41$ or so. Other than that, the green fees are reasonable for what you get. Shorter course and good to practice the short game if you're a long hitter.

Boy did we come on the wrong day! Probably wont be back sadly as ive been here before and usually wasnt too bad. We were told a 4 some wld be in front of us 5 to 7 mins or more. Thats n.p, we knew that. We arrived at 1st tee exactly 1 to 2 mins before our tee time. The 4 some was only half way down the fairway. Then the marshall put a 2 some in front of us. Then we went to try the 10th hole. It was backed up. So we went back to the 1st. The 4 some was still putting out. And the 2 some waiting on fairway. So then were sent to the 12th. I paid 75 or 78 for the 18 with a cart. Also cldnt believe…

The course itself is in great shape, however it is far too expensive for a par 62 track. 72$ with a cart for a tee time that should be considered a twilight rate. In comparison to others courses in the area it’s hard to justify returning for the cost. The cart path only rules are far too strict as well which really slows the speed of play.

Course was slow and over packed but it was a long weekend. Greens were super soft, there were a lot of shorter holes and water traps. Nice spot.

Marshal ruined the experience for my fiance and her dad. He was rude to them right from the start and through out their game. Constantly harassing them telling them to hurry up, not to play unless they are skilled players and just generally making it a poor experience. We will not return to this course.

One of the best courses in the Peterborough area. Good place to go if you’re looking for a more reasonably timed round. Marshalls are always ensuring decent pace of play and the course is in great condition with lots of diversity in design.
