In summary

Liftlock Golf Club is appreciated for its well-maintained course, friendly staff, and suitability for beginners, offering a mix of short and long holes. The junior golf camp receives high praise for its engaging activities and supportive counselors. However, some visitors express dissatisfaction with the driving range's limited availability and equipment, as well as inconsistent restaurant operations and cleanliness.

Nice course, affordable, good carts, driving range, practice putting area. Clubhouse was clean, food smelled good (can't speak on the taste) lots of merch/swag to purchase if needed. Played a few times this year with my sister's and will definitely be back.

Had the best experience golfing, have gone twice now and there was a staff member named Brock a young man who was doing yardwork on the course, I needed some direction and he guided me, very professionally I might ad, very hard-working, young man . The course is very well kept the staff are very educated and efficient. Highly recommend this course!

LLGC restaurant (update attached): We followed our favourite chef andrew here. Been here for breakfast and sunday brunch. Firstly, the brunch benedict is amazing (def see his influence). Andrews touch with the food is definately there. As for the front of the house...many tables were dirty, cobwebs under tables, ceiling fans were so filthy that they were black...windows were all dirty no signage as to where to enter the restaurant. Servers seemed confused about whether or not there was a brunch specific menu. The reason i gave a three is because of the food only. I know andrew runs a tight shi…

The Worst Restaurant Times I've Ever Experienced. They change the restaurant closing time way too much. I came here four times and the first three, the restaurant was closed. It's random. You never know when they open or close. I do got to say that the Toasted Western is great. The Poutine is great. The female server is great energy. But I still like this place overall. Love the name & location, haha! Fourth time's the charm.

Was never anything special but it has really went down hill. Have to wait for the driving range because they don’t have a ball collector with a cage. Can’t practice chipping onto the putting green anymore. Been going there for 20 years and today was probably the last time. Lots of better options with better services.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Not the best conditioned course for the price. Carts go 7-8 KMH. Was looking to play a normal long course. Only 2 tees. woman’s and men’s. 5 feet apart. and there’s only 3 short par 4. Might aswell play a par 3 course for 15 bucks. There is a hidden cart fee of the ridiculous price of 25 dollars. Crazy experience.

This is a well maintained course. I only have one comment. Some of the yard signage is facing the wrong direction and is difficult to tell which hole you were at. Rates are very reasonable.

Lots of positive changes under new management (spring 2017). The course is great for beginners or a real quick round, you can leave half of your bag at home, it's a short course. Drainage is an issue for the course after extended periods of rain, you may encounter standing water & a course that's saturated - bring your waterproof shoes!

Went for the driving range early in the day. They only had 1 small bucket of balls and no plans to restock for the day. Very dissatisfied paying $10 for 10 minutes worth of range balls.

Arrived and was told 30 minute wait to use the range. They won’t pickup balls while people are still hitting and don’t have enough range balls to cover the demand. Playing golf for 30 years now and never experienced this before. Pretty brutal waste of time.

I was parked across the street at the river, south of the locks. Ball comes flying out of the trees, across the road, and damages my new car. The establishment’s response when contacted was to “blame the city of Peterborough because they approved a golf course there.” Drunk men hooting and hollering after sniping balls across a live road into the river and into brand new cars is the type of membership they promote. Yucky behaviour. I really hope no one gets injured like this because my toddler was in the car for about 15 seconds when they had happened. If I had have let her climb in herself th…

My 9YO son participated in golf camp this year, and had a blast! We were impressed by the large group of golf campers and the junior facilities. The lunch program option was a summer savior too! His favorite day was Friday when they got to play the long course. Our cottage bound summers will include participation each summer for our kids at this camp. Highly recommend. #growthegame
