Highland Golf Course

The golf course was Gorgeous and incredibly fun. We showed up with a 3 person group on Dec 7th 2025, and we could not have asked for a better experience. The manager went above and beyond with his hospitality and was incredibly helpful. I highly recommend this course to everyone, and we will definitely be returning.

The layout is challenging and it has the aspirations to be an excellent course. The course is in rough shape! The tee boxes have broken tees scattered everywhere, bare dirt and uneven footing, the greens are diseased and the fairways are cut unevenly with a lot of dips/holes all over. With that said, a lot of high schoolers practice in the late afternoon, which is good to see. They're at the range and play in multiple groups after 4pm. The pro shop is well stocked and ran well. Wonderful evergreen golf course! It was a pleasure playing for the crowd of deer and wildlife! Definitely had a wonderful day!

The Highland Golf Course is set in a circular setting, at least for the first nine holes. It has its moments where it can be a positive challenge. It's got a lot of pretty scenery, the lawn was cut down nicely but the golf course itself was sort of drab and dead in many spots with sand having to be put on the green to help keep it less muddy. Not to mention I was picking up excess garbage lying around each hole because it was just that trashed.Now it hasnt always been like this but the last few months have been rough for this particular golf course. Best part of Highland for me is the people, particularly the Men’s club group. The challenge for me is remaining able to walk the course. It is without question the most difficult course to walk that I have ever played. It is also quite scenic and I always look forward to playing it.

The course is a fun experience with some challenging holes on the back 9. Staff very friendly, greens in great shape and getting better all the time. Good driving range and practice greens. Fun atmosphere and family friendly. I recommend you give it a try.

The staff here are amazing and friendly! This is one of the more interesting and scenic courses I’ve played. It could use some more maintenance on the back 9 holes but overall it’s a fun course to walk.

Hilly and the greens are not in the best shape. A good course on the front 9, the back 9 proves more challenging. I'm not the best golfer, but I did well on the front 9 *40*. The back was significantly higher. Again my skill level is below amature. I give 3 out of 5 for 2 reasons. Challenging for my skillset. Greens are not taken care of. Fairways are narrow if you have a draw in your swing. Ill be back though. The clubhouse was friendly and I forgot my phone in the cart.. didn't get stolen and was able to get it back.

The golf course policies are pretty casual allowing younger kids and inexperienced golfers access to the course. The course itself is very rough. It was like playing in a dusty cow pasture. The greens were atrocious. Don't expect to 2 putt here.

Highland is a fantastic golf course with reasonable rates and a friendly staff. It has a couple rough spots but on the whole it's a really solid experience with a great pace of play. I'll be back!

Staff is super friendly and helpful. The course itself is in rough shape. We weren't sure where the fairway ended and the rough started on most holes. They were clearly working on improving the condition, but cart paths were in bad shape and in some cases didn't exist. Greens were in rough shape as well. The course has it's challenges but even if you keep it in play, the chances you lose your ball are high. A solid 3 star course to go out and have some fun.
