Surfside Golf Course

Very nice public course. Nine holes that are well maintained and green fairways even during the summer (many coast courses are often spotty to brown). Greens were in really good shape and fast, even in September. Several long Par 4 holes and long Par 5. Dense brush and grass along fairways, so keep it away otherwise its a goner! Deer and Elk use the course. Elk tracks on the greens must be taken into account when deciding to go for it or just get it close. Carts are available but it can be walked, as it is generally flat. A hidden gem! This course is very challenging for all levels. The operators of the course are extremely dedicated to the maintenance and playing experience. The course is in top shape year around! Best golf course on the peninsula by far!

Last time I played the course was in absolutely horrendous condition but I still love coming out. One of the very first golf courses I played.

Great 9 hole course, it is walkable and priced can't be beat.

We had not played a round of golf in over 15yrs. They were welcoming, had club rentals, and a nice cart. Fun 9 hole course, interesting to play, and scenic. After our round we had an excellent lunch in the cafe. Would recommend, we will play there again.

A great little full-featured 9-hole Golf Course look for eagles and other Wildlife while you play they really made this golf course nice in last few years both par-fives are very challenging

Nice 9 hole course as we just played for the first time today. Well worth the drive past the Long Beach course as this course is in much better shape! I would like to see better yardage markers and maybe greener fairways which might be tough when we played this summer given the sandy soil. The staff is super friendly and we will definitely play again! When it’s HOT inland this is a fun/must play option!

Jon and Lori at Surfside Golf Course are just the greatest people. They hosted a friends memorial service there who was also a great friend of theirs. It was the most lovely ceremony on the golf course. Afterwards they had offered food and support for the children of our shared friend. They are the salt of the Earth and the golf course is lovely too!

This place was a wreck! If you wanna hit a 350 plus yard drive, this is the place. The fairways were absolutely toasted. Not a green spot on them,the ball would run forever. It's a 9 hole course that you play Twice If you would want to after 9 I wouldn't. This would be a great course being so close to the ocean. But there's no view at all

After purchasing a cottage in Ocean Park in 2014, we decided to 'take up golf' in our sunset years. Jon K and Lori run a great setup here; Lori runs the in-house Great Day Cafe (BOMB BLTs and Reubens) and Jon is always focused on customer service. This is a fun, forgiving 9-hole course with a couple of par 5s and 2 par 3s. Jon and crew have steadily improved the greens and general course conditions, despite the handiwork of scores of local Elk, deer and other varmints. Reasonably priced green fees, gas-powered carts are extra. Annual memberships are a bargain here too. Rental clubs available.…

The owners are AWESOME! Great Day Cafe is open 11-5 Tue thru Sun currently. Amazing food!! All the golfers that goe in and out of the shop seem really happy (I'm not a golfer). But its a wonderful atmosphere with great people💜

BEST BLT my husband says he ever had. I love the salads! So happy we found this place. The prices are very reasonable and the owner does it all herself.... she is amazing!
