In summary

Peninsula Golf Course is frequently praised for its friendly staff, well-maintained course, and enjoyable layout, which offers a mix of technical and open shots suitable for beginners and intermediate players. The on-site restaurant, The Cove, is also highlighted for its excellent food and welcoming atmosphere. However, some visitors have noted issues with course conditions, such as slow greens and maintenance concerns, and a few have experienced dissatisfaction with the restaurant's seating arrangements for families with children.

8/3-5/2018 4.5 Golfed Friday and Sunday. Laided-back golf course with a nice restuarant. Can't attest to the food but the course played well. Greens were on the slow side. Most of the course is well kept with continuing improvements on the way. A nice 9 hole round easy for beginning golfers. Par 33 with 3's and 4's, no 5's.

There is a good variety of shots, including technical plays through the woods and some wide open bombers. The club house doesn't have much disc golf merch, but they just started with disc golf and are excelerating in the community. They are on UDisc and have a website you can book a tee time through.

Wonderful food at the cove. A must in Long Beach. The best sweet potato fries I've ever had!

Not sure how they could charge 45 bucks a round, during a week day no less. It was more of a goat track than a golf course, the greens keeper must have been laid off. The course does have some potential with some better care.

Poor condition would be a compliment for this course. Truly in horrendous condition. It’s almost laughable how bad it is. I played it a couple years ago and it was bad condition then, but at least still playable. Now, it actually feels like you’re hitting balls in a field. I’ve never seen anything like it. The fact that they charge greens fees should be considered theft. Clearly the only reason they’re open is for the restaurant. The course is obviously a joke now and quite sad.

What a GREAT place. We came as part of Harvest Hosts. Played a round and had some dinner at The Cove. All of the employees were exceptionally friendly. The course was well maintained and fun to play. And the meal was really tasty. I hope to come back many times in the future!!!

We found it by accident while searching for pet friendly restaurants. We were very impressed and pleased. We ate out on the covered patio with our border collie. They have a special menu for puppies and the waitress was so very nice and quick. The food is delicious and I had a neopolotian cheesecake as my birthday treat!! I have never had such a delectable dessert!!! Definitely worth checking the restaurant out. The golf course looked very fun.

Beautiful course, well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They even asked us at the end of our round for suggestions on how to improve. Excellent amenities. Overall a great experience. We will be back!
