Friendly club, great lay out and killer views. We stopped in on our way back home. Trees were turning colors, it was about 80F with a gentle breeze and blue skies. Perfect day and the golf course was in amazing condition. I’d thoroughly recommend, it was one of the best courses that I’ve played at.

One of the best 9-hole courses in US. Fabulous conditions even at the end of a dry summer. Friendly owners and staff!

Phenomenal course. 1-4 is as good an opening stretch as you can hope to find. 6 and 8 are strong holes as well. Greens are in great shape. Fairways are solid and tees are ok.

This nine hole course has the best views of any New England golf course. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable. The course is maintained well. I find the course challenging and strategic playing is recommended. The sand traps were recently re worked and play well. Unfortunately I know that from experience.

THE BEST! Why play 18 holes once when you can master 9 twice! I love playing 9. It's so much easier from a time perspective and you don't feel like you didn't finish if you walk off a full course. This is such a wonderful place and the grounds crew have truly been outstanding in their care of the course since new ownership took over. Just go play, you'll be so glad you did

Considering the drought, the course is in great shape. some burnt spots, but in general excellent greens, and (almost) lush fairways and rough. The course is laid out well, but if you are walking, bring your hiking golf shoes. It's hilly. Service from the pro-shop and crew was outstanding. Prices are good, and if you are a member at another course, you can get an unlimited pass for $350, and a midweek pass is only $500! We played 8/25/22, expecting to play just 9, and liked it so much we played another 9. I played this course many years ago and was not impressed. They have improved everything…

I have been playing golf in New Hampshire for almost 50 years, but I had never heard about Hooper until I read Tom Doak’s extremely positive review in his Confidential Guide. It did not disappoint. Great design, a welcoming atmosphere, and so much fun to play. A pure golf experience. Definitely worth a detour.

My wife and I stopped at this course for the first time today. We wanted to check it out for a future golf stop. We did not play but we were so impressed by the courteous and professional staff that served us lunch. The hostess ,Jennifer made us feel like regulars and we throughly enjoyed our lunch. We can’t wait to return 🏌️🏌️🏌️

Course and staff were nice. Association members, and in particular the association President, ruined the visit for us on the first hole. We were two experienced golfers playing “best ball” with two inexperienced golfers. We were approached in the middle of the first fairway by an association member telling us we were too slow. Explained we were playing “best ball” and would be happy to let them play through on the next T-box. This was not received well and he left in a huff. On the second T-box, Association President rudely approaches my friend, introducing himself as such, and gives him a ste…
