In summary

Bretwood Golf Club is highly regarded for its excellent course conditions, scenic setting, and challenging layout, offering two distinct courses—North and South—that provide variety and beautiful views. The staff is generally praised for their friendliness, and the course is noted for being well-maintained with reasonable rates. While most experiences are positive, some visitors have mentioned issues with customer service, particularly regarding discrepancies in pricing, and the lack of on-course alcohol sales.

This place is literally heaven. I come up from Rhode Island just about every year and play 36. Conditions are always great (unless the river floods lol) and the price cannot be beat. You will use every club in your bag!

Played the north. Excellent course, late October in New England very beautiful. Layout is straightforward, course was in phenomenal shape, greens are on the bigger side but super difficult . Greens were being aerated but greens fees were discounted so that’s fair. . Can’t wait to play the south course.

Golf courses, North and South. Excellent conditions, a very peaceful atmosphere. River runs along the courses. Some shorter holes but huge undulating greens. I'd join if I lived closer..

Just moved to the area a couple of months ago and played here for the first time in June. After 2 rounds, I joined as a member for the rest of the year. The course is kept in excellent conditions. Both courses give you plenty of variety and challenge. There's some beautiful views, covered bridges, and the sound of the Ashuelot River in the background. Absolutely gorgeous golf course. The staff is also incredibly friendly. Love this place!

Had a great round here with a friend of mine. Very easy course for me (typically shoot in the 110-120s, was able to get a 102 here!) Kind of far to travel to, but worth it. Course is usually in great shape. Bring bug spray and sun screen!!

You will not find a better course top to bottom. 36 holes of perfectly manicured fairways and greens. It’s a must stop.

Very nice courses. The course we played was very nice. Well kept up and not tooo busy in September. We will definitely be back. Not too hilly and okay to walk. There’s no tee times during the week so it’s first come, first serve. Highly recommend

Really good condition with 2 great courses. Both north and south are in great shape. Greens roll much better in the afternoon when dried out. Friendly staff and reasonable rates.

Play all day for $72 with cart! Both the North and the South course will give you a challenge from the tips. Course is well maintained and provides many tremendous views. Well worth the trip!

Great Course, in great condition. Played twilight 9 on a weeknight and had the place to myself. Course was in good condition especially considering all the rain.

Both courses are the most challenging and unique I have ever encountered. It's like playing a miniature golf course but on a large scale. If you think you can just go out there and wail away forget it. There are so many water hazards if you dont place your shots you better bring a dozen extra balls.

Cute, clean golf course with long fairways! Quiet clubhouse and quality food with an awesome wraparound porch for a convenient close to the round!
