Northfield Golf Course

We had a great time at this 9-hole course. It’s well maintained, and the 6th hole is especially nice. You can also rent clubs here, which was really convenient for us. The staff were all very friendly and helpful: Peter helped us book our tee time, Savannah showed us around, and Kurt tried to help us find a club we left behind. This is, at least, and pretty interesting 9 holes of golf. And at $20 to walk the price is right. It's more muni than private, which is hardly a criticism. It's not very long, so you can do pretty well with driver in the trunk. If it's working for you though, by all means. The closer the better I say. And none of the holes are like the others, so some shot variety will be going on. There's also some lean to the fairways so you'll see some hanging, flying and otherwise not flat lies. Lovely course, well maintained, reasonable pricing. My wife and I like to walk 9. Putting green is excellent. They now open for T-times at 8am. Great people!

Friendly people, good walking course, too. The greens are in great shape, and the greens fees are reasonable.

My wife loves this course ! Its interesting but not overwelming. A good walking range but has carts just the same. Were lucky to have such a Good place locally.

Sam was very cordial, who I spoke with ahead of going. Drove from NH for opening day with the rain, but my first time was a good impression. Approachable 9 holes surrounded by beautiful and historical architecture, and the featured hole is gorgeous even in the cloudy weather. I'll be sure to return with friends!

This is a local gem. The reviewer who left a 1 star review because he had to “share his t-time with complete strangers” is all that is wrong with today’s social media. Part of the experience of golf is sharing the course with others of varying abilities. If you want to play alone then book and pay for a foursome and have at it. This is a well kept picturesque course that is a pleasure to play for golfers of all levels of ability and I’m offended for the owners that they would have to address such a ridiculous negative review.

Northfield is a beautiful and picturesque course. It has its challenges on various holes, but overall, it is forgiving to moderate beginners. It's also pleasantly affordable, as opposed to most area courses.

Giving a 4 star rating because is a wonderful golf course; really beautiful place to play... however, I've been there a few times where they've put other people with me... don't mind the others at all I just like to golf and get done... it takes me 2 and a half hours 2 play 18 holes of golf and this last time I went they put 2 people with me without letting me know and they were so slow we were only able to get 9 holes in in 3 and a half hours. Okay, hear me out: I went to this with my esteemed coworkers for company playtime. It was a mysterious experience mostly: I have never played golf! But, wow! Very classy and classic golf course! There were many holes and even more socializing! Luncheon was delish American! I will bring child and daughter here forever!

I've been to Northfield Golf club many times over the last 25 years or so and it has always been a great place. It's always been well maintained. It's been awhile since I've been there and I was really impressed with the improvements. The course is beautifull! When you add the very reasonable greens fees, this place is a gem! It's easily one of the best courses in Massachusetts.

Absolutely gorgeous and always well kept! Challenging 9 hole course if you don't keep it in the short grass. Everyone is friendly and welcoming
