We were in town for a lacrosse tournament and the boys wanted to play golf and stumbled on the course with dumb luck. We were glad we did as the course and grounds a very well maintained. We had lunch first then played and like the food at the restaurant that we invited a few other friends that were in town to come and have dinner at the course. I must say yes it is a pricey course but it was very well maintained. The food at the restaurant was not overpriced and was delicious. Almost all of the staff were great and very pleasurable and made us feel welcome. When back in the area we will be ba…

One of my favorite courses. Played last week and must concur with other recent reviews; course was not in good shape. Greens are very patchy, tee boxes just OK and general course conditions were not great. Certainly not enough to justify the high price and long drive. Very disappointing. Will wait until next year to play it again.

My favorite course in Massachusetts and probably one of my favorite courses ever. What I like most about this course is how much each hole forces you to think through every shot. The course is brilliantly designed to give the player many different options and there are no easy or straightforward shots. I think my favorite might be the par 5 17th (first pic), which makes you split a narrow gap off the tee if you’re trying to get home in two. The small undulating greens and narrow fairways make this course a challenge as it definitely feels like a US Open Qualifier.

This course will test you. There are plenty of narrow fairways and forced carries. If the green isn't protected by water, then it's elevated, or both. And once you get to the dance floor the journey has only just begun. You're whole bag better be in shape if you expect to score on this course. It's a positional course. If you're out of position it will cost you a stroke. If you're out of position with a crappy lie then it will most likely be two. it's also the kind of course where no two holes are alike. And so you'll end up hitting most every club you have in your bag. However, this is the k…

I was in New Hampshire for work last week. In my quest to golf in all 50 states, I decided to find a course in Northern Massachusetts. I was lucky enough to find Crumpin-Fox, a Robert Trent Jones design. I left Manchester at 5:15 AM to arrive for my 7:45 tee time. I needed an early tee time because I wanted to golf in Vermont in the afternoon. Upon arrival, the staff could not have been more welcoming. Brian, the GM talked to me before my round and met me on the 18th green to ask about my round and my thoughts on the course. The course was beautiful and challenging. Considering all the rainfal…

The Safari Club of Golf enjoyed another spectacular day at one of our longtime favorite golf courses earlier this 2021 season back on May 12. It's been four years since my last review so I thought it high time to bring things current. This was the 12th year in a row we took this opportunity to have one of the best golf courses and finest golfing facilities located anywhere throughout the entire northeast at our organizations full disposal. Over 120 members and friends took full advantage of this opportunity and were even more impressed with everything at Crumpin Fox this year than they were…

Great place all around... prestine golfing conditions... exceptional staff... highly recommend it. I must have run over a screw on my way in and got a flat as a result... I had a repair kit, took off the wheel, plugged it, and the General Manager himself brought over his personal vehicle, had an air pump, filled my tire, and I was on my way... Really great people... TY Update: another visit another great experience... highly recommend it.

This course is a gem, every hole was phenomenal! It was overcast and a bit misty the entire round but it didn't dampen the experience! I would highly recommend this course to anybody wanting to play a woodlands type course. Very fair and plays to your handicap well.

Currently playing the course right now and had to stop to write this. Course is in AWFUL condition. Greens have patches all over them. Tee boxes are extremely beat up. Waste of money to play there right now. Take your money elsewhere until they get the course in better shape.

This course is in great shape. The greens are fast and true. Driving range offered free range balls and the restaurant has delicious food. Definitely recommend to friends and family.

An absolutely beautiful well kept course. If they managed the pace of play and groupings as well as the course this would be a 5/5. For what the price is the pace of play should have been managed, it was crowded and my group waited 10 minutes at every hole. We played on 8/09/25 and it took just shy of 6 hours. 5hr and 43min to be exact. Groups were backed up at every hole. Loved the course but the pace was unbearable.
