In summary

Edge Hill Golf Course is praised for its beautiful and challenging layout, offering scenic views and a unique golfing experience that many find enjoyable. The staff is noted for their friendliness and attentiveness, enhancing the overall experience. However, some visitors mention that the course can be physically demanding due to its hilly terrain and that certain areas, like the fairways and cart paths, could use improvement. The best time I've had golfing all year! Each hole presents a unique challenge. This hidden gem is not a "bombers paradise" as there is much more precision required to score well - bring your irons and your A-Game and you'll have an absolute blast. The terrain can be rocky, wet, and definitely full of tree-lined twists, but it's balanced by being completely fair. I would rate this course as very "lady friendly" as well. We will be back for certain (I need a rematch!)- and if you haven't, you should give it a shot. Also of note: the property itself is exceptionally beautiful. I can see why you…

Does not matter how good or bad you hit the golf ball here because the incredible views, wildlife and scenery around you will make anyone happy...The course itself is also very fun and challenging and my favorite among all others in Western Ma. The staff make you feel right at home. Can't say enough about how special this place is. Many great times with my son here.

This is a good, playable course, but there are a few caveats. First, don't walk this course unless you are in very good physical condition. It is extremely hilly and will tire you out. Sure, it's great exercise, but the fatigue could impact your game. It's also not an easy course. You will be out of view of the flag several times. Finally, this is a rustic golf course (which is reflected in the greens fees), so don't expect a Pebble Beach experience. If you take all of this in mind, you will play with the right expectations and have an enjoyable round of golf in a beautiful setting.

Adventure golf at it's finest! Beautiful course in a secluded location. Plenty of space on this course to feel alone, which is a nice change from some overbooked places. I love the fake owl to scare off woodchucks! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Clubhouse is clean, bathroom spotless, carts clean, Tee boxes and greens in great shape. Some fairways are a bit rough and cart paths suck. Give this hidden gem a try and enjoy it for more than just the golf.

Only played the front nine but this course is so improved over the last time I played. Classic Western Mass country course, challenging and scenic. Owner is dedicated to constantly improving the course...when he gets the back nine on par with front nine, this could be a destination course.

Beautiful natural course using all indigenous plantings and sustainable landscaping with a minimum of watering, herbicide, or other artifice. It is a challenging and absolutely authentic New England interpretation of the true Scottish experience which gave us today's golf game.

My first time golfing this year. What a great course. I think I may have lost about a dozen golf balls strategically placed throughout the eighteen holes though. The 8th hole was particularly challenging.

Super laid back, fun course. Most tee shots don’t require lots of distance but finding the fairway is necessary.

Beautiful settings, the old 9 are well groomed. The new 9 need a little bit of work, but all in all a challenging and enjoyable course to play.

For 75$ for a promotional golf membership is more than worth it. Conditions are not great, but because of the price is 3 stars
