In summary

Hunters Oaks Golf Club receives praise for its welcoming staff, beautiful setting, and affordable pricing, particularly for its front nine holes, which are maintained as a British links-style course. Guests appreciate the cozy and hospitable atmosphere, along with the quality of food offered at the restaurant. However, some visitors express concerns about the overall maintenance of the course, particularly the back nine and the greens, as well as issues with communication and availability of amenities.

Wow! What a beautiful experience I had staying at Hunter Oak. My girlfriend and I came up for a weekend and could not have asked for more. They rooms were clean and comfy. Also, the owners are so kind and accommodating to our needs. The restaurant had amazing burgers with indoor and outside sitting. The views were so amazing that we are considering Hunters Oak for a wedding venue. Definitely would recommend staying here and we are absolutely coming back!

I was just here on the Fourth of July with friends to celebrate the holiday. We all had a great time hanging out on the patio, cooling off in the HUGE pool and eating some outstanding tasting burgers in the pub. We watched fireworks over the trees at night and sat around a little fire on the patio and made s’mores. The hospitality of the people who run the place was warm and welcoming. The sleeping arrangements were top notch. My girlfriend and I stayed in the bedroom, The Logan, which has a really neat ambiance. It’s got slanted walls that align with the roof and gable windows that let in a…

Read the reviews and decided to take a peek at the golf course here cuz it sounded decent. Got here and it looked a bit run down but I decided to keep going and give it a chance. On my way in I could tell the golf course wasnt kept up with very often. The grass was high on tee boxes and fairways. When I got to the parking lot the place was basically deserted. Everything was overgrowing and the "clubhouse" looked like it had been hit by a tornado. There were 3 golf carts outside that also looked like they had been hit by a tornado. As I turned around to go back to my car I ran into a dog who I…

Had a wonderful time today golfing. My husband and two children went to Hunters Oak for the first time today and couldn't have been more thrilled with the lady who greeted us today. Very kind and welcoming and we definitely will return. It was an amazing family golfing day which turned into a beautiful memory. Thank you to the staff for making us feel welcomed.

Hunters Oak Golf Course is a British links type of course. The course back in its glory days was a wonderful well kept course that was 18 of the hardest holes you would play in the Delmarva area. Now the new owners are keeping up the front nine of the golf course and it is the most reasonable priced 9 holes you will ever play. Winter rules all year long. Hopefully one day they will be able to fix the back nine/

Such a unique and hygge experience that you can’t find these days! The family is wonderful, full of fun and hospitality. It’s gives you an opportunity to spend a cozy, yet luxurious, time with good food and good people. The food here is amazing; they have a lot of handmade food (like bacon and honey) and the owner has a huge variety of food background that you can taste in his creations!

Course layout ( 9 holes ) still top notch but leave your putter home. Can't call them greens. All dirt and any spots that looked green were crabgrass. Very disappointing.

Only 15 dollars for a round of 9, with cart! It's beautiful out there. The greens are not that well kept but that doesn't keep us from having a great time when we play there. The owner seems like a cool guy

Worst costumer service, poor management. The place looks like it hasn't been taken care of in years; the golf course is one of the worst I have ever seen, the pub/restaurant isn't open and doesn't seem like it will ever open. I wouldn't reccomend any one to go here.

I have been trying to call for weeks now trying to get info and set up tee times and what not but the line never rings and goes straight to a voicemail that is not set up. There is no other form of contact info on their website either. It seems like a nice place but how do I get a hold of you? Ps. I am happy to change my review if you contact me!
