I love the layout and aesthetics of the course. Very playable. I scored my lowest round ever here last year. But, this year was a different story. 🤣 Got paired up with a nice couple from Galena, IL. We prefer playing alone, as it is less "stressful". Lovely day overall, despite not hitting them well.

Great day on the course. Started at 3:40 and finished 18 at 7:15. It was in beautiful condition. Fairways and greens were well groomed. Definitely will be back.

I recently played Idlewild for the first time and found the course to be very interesting and challenging. The greens were very consistent and the variety of the holes was excellent. Looking forward to playing it again next summer.

This golf course is my favorite that I have encountered. It is set in such a serene landscape. The fairways are not on top of each other. The greens are well kept. You will probably see some wildlife. The pathways and directions to the next holes are appreciated. Considering the quality of the course, the cost is an insane value. If you are thinking of golfing here, get off the reviews and schedule a tee time now. You won't regret it.

I came Early season, in fact the first day open 2021. I was a walk in and they got me out right away. Very friendly staff. Nice carts. The course was wet being early but well maintained and the price was great. Would come again next time I am in the area.

Fairways were terrible. See pic of #9. Greens rock hard. Holes cut in at weird angles. Saw bev cart 4 times but served zero playing 18 on a Sat morning.

Very nice pro shop with lots of clothing and equipment. The course was in fantastic shape. Medium-large sized practice green. Lots of water hazards on the course means many geese and beautiful scenary. Worth the drive up there!

Nice public course!! We were underwhelmed with the first 2-3 holes, but remainder of the front 9 were absolutely beautiful! The course was in excellent condition, and we really enjoyed the golf. It’s probably top-two in the area for public course, in my opinion. The pro shop left a little to be desired, but the staff was friendly and we overall enjoyed our time! We’ll be back!

Great experience! Course was outstanding. Greens were fast and true very receptive. The pictures on their website do not do it justice. So many times when going to a course for the first time, it doesn't live up to the pictures. This was better. If you golf in Door County, you must play this course.
