In summary

Indian Lake Golf Course is praised for its well-maintained and challenging short course layout, featuring a mix of par 3s and 4s with scenic views and water hazards. The friendly and accommodating staff, along with the popular Martin's Kitchen restaurant, enhance the overall experience. While most visitors appreciate the course's condition and atmosphere, some have reported issues with management's handling of specific situations and inconsistent enforcement of group size policies.

It was my first time shooting this course. Great short par 60 track. Considering the time of year, the course was in excellent condition. It was impressive that there was a starter this early in the season. Pace of play was great. We never waited long on a tee box. The course is made up of par 3s & 4s only. 12 of the 18 holes have water hazards. It's a great course, enjoyable for beginner or seasoned golfers. I will definitely play here again.

Indian Lake Golf Course is a great spot year-round. The course is well-kept and always improving, and it's not just the course — the entire property sees regular upgrades. The clubhouse is clean and welcoming, the patio is a great place to relax, and the food is always good. In the winter, the golf simulators are a fun way to keep playing. A well-rounded experience whether you're golfing, grabbing a bite, or just enjoying the atmosphere.

Great 18 hole short course near Halifax. Very well maintained and upgraded consistantly every year. Staff and management are top shelf. Outstanding food in Martine Kitchen. Lots of upgrades on the course over the winter. Looking fine!

A core group of 4 of us (seniors) play here 2-3 times a week. For an executive course…It is, hands down, one of the most beautiful & challenging courses I’ve played in recent years. It’s very well maintained & all of the staff, maintenance workers included, are very polite & friendly. And to top it all off there’s Martin’s Kitchen that has a good selection of great food & patio overlooking the course where you can enjoy a meal or a cold beverage .

First time playing here. From out of town and stopped by on a whim, and glad I did. Staff were able to accommodate me and allowed me to play 18. Joined up with some great locals. Course is nicely taken care of,. Greens were tough to read, and par 3’s were challenging. Staff from the pro shop to the starter were amazing and friendly. Definitely recommend this hidden gem!

Have played here for years and now the only course I play usually with a group of same age, like-minded friends. We normally play 9 holes and walk the course followed by a friendly beer afterwards on the patio or inside if cold. Have played as late in the season as New Years Eve. Love the course which is exceptionally well maintained; continually upgraded and a short distance from Halifax. Staff are friendly and accommodating, willing to cut us slack as "regulars" and seniors if can't make a t-time due to unforseen circumstances so long as we call ahead. Keep up the good work!! Update Nov.11'…

I had more than one disappointing experience at this golf course. I had a tee time scheduled, but unfortunately, the morning of my reservation, we had to make the heart breaking decision to put our dog down. I called the course in tears to cancel, and while the staff member I spoke with was kind, he informed me that the owner would have to approve. The owner refused to offer any understanding or empathy, citing that it was a "beautiful sunny day" and that she would have booked the tee time otherwise. She still charged us the full amount. Another time, we were the tee time in front of the own…

Great golf course and is open almost all throughout the year, except when it snows. The staff are very friendly and do everything to accommodate you and your needs. Lise and Asifa are fantastic. There was a mix up in my reservations and I had driven from NB to play and they made it happen and enhanced my overall experience.

This is my “go to” course. It’s awesome for all golfers no matter your skill level. The beautification the owners have done over the past few years have made it even nicer! The view of the lake from hole number 6 is one of my favourites.
