In summary

Ironwood Golf Club is frequently praised for its beautiful and well-maintained course, challenging layout, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for golfers in the area. The club offers a pleasant setting with a well-stocked drink cart and a cozy clubhouse atmosphere. However, some visitors have reported issues with course management, particularly regarding tee time scheduling and customer service, leading to occasional slow play and dissatisfaction with how certain situations are handled.

First time playing here both my friend and I really liked the layout. For the last week of fall golf the course was in really good shape and looking forward to playing it in some nice sunny weather next summer. Sitting by the fireplace afterwards with a drink was a nice finish to the day

Horribly managed. Sent groups off to play the back 9 to start and once they got to 18, they found themselves waiting because there were tee times lined up due to mismanagement. Instead of making things right, the "manager" suggested that they stop playing and get a rain check...? The course didn't manage the tee times correctly. No accountability. Hopefully it was a one off incident, but I'm not sure I'd ever take the time to play/spend money here again. Pictured: FOUR groups waiting at the 2nd tee....

Golfed at ironwood yesterday. Had originally booked 2 timeslots for 8 golfers but 3 could not make it due to family matter that had come up - these 3 players were carpooling. The manager of this course, I believe her name was Michele Hodgert was very nasty and unprofessional about 3 of our group not showing up. After some lengthy discussion she eventually gave us a rain cheque to compensate for the players who could not make it. I get it that she is enforcing golf North cancellation policies but I have visited other courses under the Golf North umbrella, where in similar circumstances where a…

Very fun course with challenging and well-kept greens. It is worth the drive to Exeter. I do not drink on the course, but I noticed they have a very well stocked drink cart that will keep your shots going straight. There's nothing negative to say!!

My wife, two best friends and I played a round at Ironwood Golf Club. It's a very nice course with plenty of nice elevation changes. A challenging course but not so much that it was frustrating. Definitely worth a look if you're in the area. Hit a great shot on one of the par 3 holes, put the ball within about 4 feet of the hole.

Great course. Carts could use GPS upgrades. Also the sand traps need attention. Always wet.

Their seniors men $22 special on Thursday has been the best deal in the area and their new prices of $28.50 to walk and $35 to ride is still moderately attractive, It is a good golf course. Golf Now can compete with Ironwood's special 7 days a week. It is now managed by the previous owners and leased to Golf North and their partnership seems to have affected a few things. Their sandtraps have shown some improvements lately...not as hard and full of granular clay, and raked. And I should know ( I'm in them all the time).

Played Saturday and really enjoyed the course. greens and fairways were in great shape. I would definitely recommend to play if your in the area. Cart girl went and picked up food for some of our group and they were very appreciative. Only issue was on the back nine had a group of ladies that were playing very slow and spending more time looking for their balls than playing golf. It would have been nice to see a marshal go by and speed them up or let us play through.

Got chastised because our 4th couldn’t make it. I was told I will be flagged in the future. Drove 2 and 1/2 hours to golf an average course with sand traps that should be considered ground under repair. They haven’t seen new sand in probably a decade. Greens were in great shape. The middle aged lady behind the counter couldn’t have been more rude. It’s ok, flag me, cause I would never pay 74 dollars to play here again anyway. One and done. Just to be clear. Tee time was 1 on a Monday.

The course is in pretty good condition. Maybe if the lazy manager that makes the elderly feel bad for not having a mobile app, could inspect the bunkers around her course from time to time; instead of being a jerk all the time, it would improve the overall quality. I haven't been to a golf north property that asks all members for a QR code, even when my picture is on file and I know she can see it. I believe her her name is Michelle, and she makes Golf North and the other properties look bad due to her inconsistencies not experienced at other properties. The rest of her staff have been great a…

Had a great round at Ironwood few weeks back. Course was in good condition. Would play again. Watch for road detours while nearby construction going on.
