In summary

Ironwood Links Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained greens, friendly staff, and affordable food options, making it a pleasant choice for golfers of all skill levels. The course layout offers a mix of open and wooded challenges, with a notable island green on the front nine. However, some visitors have experienced issues with slow pace of play, overbooking, and occasional staff rudeness, which can detract from the overall experience.

Nice clean greens and gorgeous spaces free of debris and trash. Affordable food was piping HOT and very yummy! Fries were especially yummy. Staff is friendly and very approachable. You can order food to be brought to the hole you're playing, or you can have it waiting for you in the club house!!! This place is open when other courses are not! If it's above 50° it's golfing weather!

I played the back nine here, nice for a quick short yardage nine holes, still a challenge, fun very enjoyable place. Greens are in good shape. Carts are cleaned after use. As a bonus i had a fawn come leisurely out to see me. update: two days after posting this, I realized the next time I played I was at a different course and discovered I left my pitching wedge next to a green. I immediately called them and a nice young lady looked a few minutes for it and located it. Thank you. Its the third time i had done this over the years but the first time i got the iron back. I am super happy as it w…

After showing up early for my tee time and being up charged for carts because it was a “busy day” I was then told there were no carts available. Tee’d off 20 minutes after our scheduled time because we waited for carts. The course is barely in playable shape. Playing the greens feels like putting on the beaches of Normandy. After waiting another 20 minutes for 4 hot dogs on the turn, a group of 6 was given a back 9 tee time at 7:45pm and cut in front of us. We had to skip the 9th hole if we had any dream of finishing the course before 9pm. Additionally, a solo golfer caught up to us who we had…

Took my 5 year old son out tonight for what I thought would be a quick 18. I finished the front 9 in less than an hour. Then came the back 9... The course failed to mention to anyone that a "league" was playing the back 9. I got to hole 14 when everything ground to a halt. I watched a group of 4 guys spend 20 minutes on the 14th screwing around, hooting and hollering, completely ignoring the stack up of carts on the tee box. I saw they had 2 holes open in front so I cut to 16 trying to end the misery when I was chased down by one of the bozos on 14. This guy starts screaming and cursing at m…

I went golfing here with my husband. Actually, i sat in the golf cart i insisted upon renting and watched him golf. We had a lot of fun and i will definitely he back with him! I was able to buy chips, soda and trail mix at the counter, and everyone was super friendly. A beautiful wedding was going on when we arrived and it looked so fun and classy here. Also, the golf cart we rented was comfortable, and while my husband doesn't consider it to be the most well-kept greens in the world, we both liked the family-business feel of the place and we will continue to enthusiastically support it while…

Great corse but the person that was there on Sunday morning. He was rude and had no idea how to run the computer. It took like 15 mins to get to the part ware we could pay and get started golfing. Other wise it was a fun course to golf.

The course has never been in better shape!!! The food is still great. However over packing the course is becoming more and more of an issue. In my last four experiences, it has been very difficult to get a cart and normally have had to wait 10 to 15 minutes each time making it a late tee off, that by itself normally wouldn’t be a big deal. However, it seems the reason for lack of carts is overpacking of the course. Took almost 2 hours to play the front nine(par33 and wide open) which at a normal rate of play could be done in an hour and 15 minutes or less. I turned to the back nine to have thr…

I'm a first time golfer at the moment and this course is perfect for that! I'm not sure if it's normal or not, but I appreciate being able to bring my kids with us and have them start falling in love with the sport too.

Showed up and the man with the beard working was instantly hostile. A shorter man with a bigger stature ended up coming out to our golf group, did not say a word and took our keys away from our golf carts very aggressively becuase we had brought alcoholic beverages to the course. We had to walk approximately 200 yards. Both men were very rude and ended up apologizing after the fact. Okay course, horrible team members. Will not be returning.

Had a little misunderstanding about restrictions regarding how many holes and whether we could pay for extra holes without paying for the entire 18. Great place with some challenge to it. Would Definitely return for more golf
