What People Say

In summary

Branson Bay Golf Course receives mixed reviews, with some visitors appreciating the quiet and challenging layout, particularly enjoying the back nine. However, many express concerns about the course's maintenance, citing issues with the greens, fairways, and sand traps, as well as inconsistent customer service at the clubhouse. While some find the course suitable for casual play, others feel it needs significant improvements to reach its potential.

I would give this place zero stars if I could!!! Lady at the desk was very rude!!! Threw our cart keys at us! Horrible customer service!!! Save your money and "X" this horrible kept course off of your bucket list!!! Should had listened to my fellow yelp and google map reviews. What a disgusting course!!

The course is falling apart and is NOT well maintained. Multiple balls are lost (and found) in the rough. The fairways are overgrown and putting greens are torn up. It is a waste of money and time. You will leave frustrated and disappointed. Not to mention the lady at the clubhouse made it seem like we were asking her for a kidney when we wanted a 6 pack. It was as if we inconvenienced her. It could be beautiful if it was maintained and had better staff.

This golf course is like someone's memory of a golf course. It was super surreal being the only ones on a Sunday morning. The clubhouse was not great - bathrooms we're dirty and I contact high. The woman working there was so unfreindly to us. The courses themselves were odd - all the sand traps have crab grass growing in them instead, and their is weird Fungi on the greens. We made a game out of trying to avoid the goffer holes on the first nine. If you like very long, very boring holes worth sub par service, this is the place for you.

We arrived for our tee time, and had to wait about 15 minutes for the group in front of us to pay for their round because the attendant did not know what he was doing, making us late for our appointed tee time. The back tees had not been mowed recently. There were no greens that did not have significant damage, dead spots or other issues - most were not puttable and we essentially had to take two putts on all greens. The rough on the front nine was not well kept. The fairways had apparently been mowed in the past few days (but not for some time prior to that) as evidenced by the huge clumps of…

I don't think this place deserves a star, it's probably one of the worse course around town. There are no fairways, everything is literally the rough, and the greens are absolutely TERRIBLE. Fortunately we didn't pay full price for a round of 18, I don't know who would. The course itself has potential, but due to piss poor maintenance, it's an absolute dump. Will eventually go under from the looks of it, especially with this pandemic, unless better management comes around.

The front 9 is just about as straight and boring as you can get, but the back 9 is a ton of fun. It's $20ish to play 18 with a cart if you purchase through GolfNow. You don't have to worry about running into leagues or anything. I don't think I've ever played here with more than 10 other people on the course.

Really nice and quiet coarse. I see a lot of complaints about the course in the reviews, and the coarse is not perfect but it's perfect if you're a slow golfer or playing with a new or slow golfer. Friendly service, cold beer! I'm from out of town and always play Branson Bay when I'm in town, bring bug spray!

Better than last time for condition of greens . Traps have saplings 2-3 ft high growing in them. Why bother putting out a rake . Could be a nice course if the owner would put a little money and T L C back into it . Cut the greens fee about $5.00 . That might help .

The course itself was nice and quiet. However, the service was terrible at the Clubhouse. We requested two different six packs and the woman at the counter made it seem as though we were being a horrific burden to her. Then she was called out for her rudeness by another member of our party she laughed at us. Ruined a good day out and guarantees we will never be back.

I personally love this place, however I am the worlds worst golfer. Back nine closed for repair, and the 8th green is a jigsaw puzzle of the Mojave Desert, but the beer was cold and there was no one else there the whole time we were out on the course. Awesome day, thank you Branson Bay.

What a miserable excuse for a golf course!!! Greens are awful, what they call a fairway is full of mole holes, ruts and dirt. If your not gonna maintain it sell it!!! Has the potential to be a decent course. Don't waste your money on this one. Ugh!!!!

Very very rough condition. Greens were tiger striped with different lengths of grass. Fairways were longer than most roughs I've ever played on.
