In summary

Maple Brook Golf Club is often praised for its well-maintained course, challenging greens, and friendly staff, with many appreciating the unique dual tee layout that allows for an 18-hole experience on a 9-hole course. The scenic setting and additional amenities, such as indoor golf simulators, add to its appeal. However, some visitors feel the pricing is high for a 9-hole course, and there are occasional complaints about slow play and scheduling issues.

Having a second set of tees to give you a new look on your second go around was an interesting approach for playing 18 holes on a 9-hole course. The course was kept well, and the greens were challenging. Pace of play was great too, at least today.

This was a wonderful place that held our 30th class reunion. Chris was fantastic who runs it. Him and his staff was very helpful and attended to anything we needed. He was on top of everything. Very clean and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend for any special occasion or if you just want a day of golf. This is the place. Thank you!

The definition of a hidden gem as I have driven past this course dozens of times and finally discovered this soon to be century old Thomas Bendelow 9 hole classic! Ownership and grounds crew are doing a great job of maintenance and operation and I will return often. Easy to walk and multiple tee options are appreciated. Bendelow minimalist layout looks benign but the greens require precision - highly recommended!

I love the people who work at MB and the course is decent. But I'm just being flat out honest when I say that it shouldn't be more expensive to play 9 holes here than it is at the Medalist. The price shouldn't be anywhere in the ballpark....sorry, but as a Charlotte resident, it's extremely frustrating.

Went with 3 other people course is beautiful well take care of and fun..... However myself and the people I went with are not the best and kinda slower we allowed people to pass us out of courtesy due to us not being all that great. Well apparently a different group must have been upset with us for being slower because 30 minutes later we had the front desk operator come out (mind you he was polite) but to rush us along and didn't want to have to "remove us from the course" because we were holding people up I'm sorry for that but we paid to play as well so personally myself and my group will n…

I was a child member of this when it was the Charlotte country club. I played thousands of holes here and I can still recognize the course from the new photos. It was always a challenging layout and when we played here in high school the visiting teams hated this course. I’m gonna have to come back and play it again. It was always well-maintained and a true par 36. There were only two kind of easy holes on the course number one and number five. You Could drive the green on #1 with a big poke, and my dad had a hole-in-one on number five.

Nice and friendly staff course wasn't too bad however I was pretty bummed when I started to play and the course had standing water all over the place. I mean atleast give some people heads up on the water on the course and give them an option. Got charged full price to hit balls into 4 inches of water on fairways. But other than that the course was well maintained.

Tucked away just outside Charlotte, it's a nice little 9 hole course which can be played as an 18 as they have two different tee boxes at each hole. It's well maintained with some challenging greens. I'll be back.

The course is nice and well kept. Price was competitive with other 18 hole courses, the problem is this course only has 9 holes. So expect to get slowed down at the turn.
