In summary

Irv Warren Memorial Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained condition, affordability, and friendly staff. The course offers a mix of easy and challenging holes, with some interesting features like ponds and tricky greens. However, some visitors note issues with slow pace of play and occasional inconsiderate behavior from other golfers, particularly in the mornings.

Played Waterloo open in 2018. Course was in Great shape. The grass was pure the course is a little tricky wasn’t my favorite layout but solid little track. Little bit different golf than I’m used to.

$36 for spectator cart at a junior tournament is robbery especially at a municipal course. Paid $23 at a private club recently for spectator cart.

I've been trying to work on my short game as a new hobby with my partner. We love this golf course. Affordable and easy to get a tee time with just walking in. Easy course with some interesting and do-able challenges (ie. ponds). Easy going clientele and very considerate golfers. Haven't tried to the club house but there is plenty of seating there. Try the free golfing range located near the swimming pool in the park. Great for the public! Just have to bring and pick up your own balls.

Loved the course!! For golfing in early March, hats off to the grounds crew there for keeping the course in very good shape. Nice and open and only a few holes with water. Great staff too! Rates are also very good.

Plenty of ways to enter the course and easy access to the clubhouse. The clubhouse has a nice sitting area in the back that provides a good post-round spot to enjoy their 2-for-1 drinks after a round. The course is well maintained with trickier-than-usual greens (there are a lot of greens that are either on a slope and/or come with challenging bumps and grooves). The staff makes Irv Warren truly great!

First course all year where people thought they needed to hit into you, when it took us less than 3.5 hours to play 18 holes. Actually expressed my concern to the employee inside and he responded yes we have heard that issue before. As for the course it was in very good condition. Still does not make up for the rude people.

This is a decent municipal course, not too challenging or all that long. It is reasonably priced. A significant detriment is that senior citizens seem to 'own' the course in the mornings. They can be less than considerate and don't typically allow faster golfers to play through. For some reason, is it common practice to play as a fivesome or even sixsome! How is this a thing?!?

Told us we could play 6 in a group best ball and then when we went to tee off decided that we couldn't. Kinda sucks when you get your hopes up to play a nice round of golf with your family and then get shot down. Ended up going to Pheasant Ridge, which let us play 6 in a group best ball.

Play there several times a week. The course is in great shape. The staff is very friendly. Got fit for a new set of irons by the pro.
