In summary

Isle Dauphine Golf Club is appreciated for its stunning ocean views and the dedication of its friendly owners who are making efforts to improve the course. Many visitors enjoy the unique experience of golfing by the beach and find it a fun and relaxing activity. However, some golfers note that the course conditions, particularly the greens and fairways, can be uneven and sandy, which may not meet the expectations of those seeking a more manicured golfing experience.

Excellent gulf golf course. It is a golf course on the beach, so there are many challenges, but worth it. The course was in excellent condition, at great prices, and challenging yet relaxing. I recommend it if you are in the area and want a fun round without taking out a loan to play on the beach. Dale and his wife are the nicest people I met on my trip, and they are doing a fantastic job with this course. I can't wait to go back. 10/10

This course is all about perspective. If you know what to expect, it is almost impossible to find a better value experience golfing. The couple running the course obviously cares a lot about it and it sounds like has really brought it along a bit--I have never been checked in with more warmth and welcome. That being said, you cannot expect a putt to roll true the entire day as the greens are bumpy at best and some of the fairways are better than others. As long as you know this, hard to imaging having more fun golfing for a rate like that - was breathtaking at times and my son who isn't a real…

Well....the course is nowhere near a quality course. Sand everywhere, greens are horrendous, but sadly we kinda expected that. On to th3 good stuff....the employee was pleasant...even though the prices for what you play on are absolutely unreasonable. Rented clubs were fine, charged us $1.50 for rehash golf balls...its definitely close to a golf scam, save your money and play elsewhere, unless you just understand, that the putt putt course on the island is gonna put this place to shame. We did however make.some memories....I get that the course is under fairly new management, and they are work…

I loved it. The course was PGA back in the 60s. The current family who owns it is really putting in the work. Met them. The view is amazing. There's a gator. So if you hit it out of bounds. Leave it. Lol

If you’re a serious golfer I’d recommend going somewhere else. Friendly staff tho, pricey for the quality of the course but you’re right in the gulf and don’t have to leave the island to golf. Would make for an interesting golf show to have pro golfers play at this course to see how well they pan out.

I do not personally golf but watched others enjoy golf course right by the Gulf beach. I enjoyed walking down to beach and walking all over the beach. I saw lots of birds, some little crabs and some fish, unfortunately lots of red fish dead along shore. Other than dead fish it was a clean and nice beach.

We ate at the Pirates restaurant located at the gulf course. The views from our table were pretty, the location was perfect. There was a pool you could swim in with an admission fee, and a bar. The night we went for dinner they had a live band playing. The beach wasn't far away either. Definitely fun vibes.

The golf course has a lot of potential, but unfortunately they aren’t utilizing any of it. 4 out of the 18 fairways could almost be considered good. There wasn’t a single good green, not even the putting green, to the point I just picked up once I got my ball on the green. None of the tee boxes were good. They were mostly sand with a few tuffs of grass that weren’t even cut short. I would think a beachside golf course would at least have good sand traps, seeing there is sand everywhere , but even those were full of weeds. The lips of the bunkers were over grown with knee high grass. Some of th…

Worst golf course I’ve ever seen. Almost all the greens are complete sand and most of the fairways are covered in sand. Holes are filled with sand or overgrown with weeds. Tee boxes are complete sand with a turf mat. Terrible

Is the course perfect? No. Did we have a great time? Yes! The owner was very friendly and helpful. They are working on improving the course and it shows if you compare it to photos from reviews a year ago. It is still very sandy so temper your expectations and just enjoy the views and ocean breeze. We golfed twice this week once on the back 9 and once on the front. I’d recommend the back. We also saw a variety of wildlife including bald eagles and osprey.

Great people running the course! For being on an island they do the best they can. It is great having 18 but with the summer heat 9 is all you need. Being on the island is great to have.

The owners are genuinely nice people, but the course itself is in pretty rough shape. If you’re looking for a perfectly manicured round, this isn’t it. Be prepared for a challenging, uneven game.
