In summary

James Stewart Golf Club is appreciated for its well-maintained greens, interesting layout, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for both beginners and seasoned players. The newly renovated clubhouse and affordable rates add to its appeal, with many enjoying the convenient location near downtown. However, some visitors have experienced slow pace of play and occasional overbooking, which can detract from the overall experience.

I love this facility and the staff are very helpful, they even stick around for a long range user like myself on a cold day like it is in winter. The course itself is fine for the money, several interesting holes and greens to keep you on your toes. The maintenance of the greens is great while the fairways are about typical for public courses. I'd love to see a couple fairway bunkers added to some of the par 4's to keep things interesting.

This is a nice course and presents some challenging holes. The day I played there it was unreasonably warm and because of that overly crowed. This cause a backup in play and that is the only reason I am giving a 4 star instead of a 5 star.

Nice 9 hole course, the pro shop is very limited for golf supplies. The course is in Good shape . Not over crowded . We went on a Thursday.

They charged me $390 to advertise in their handicap book for one year and I didn't get a single call. If you're looking to advertise your business this is definitely not the spot. I also played their nine-hole course, I give it a 2 out of 5 stars.

I consider this course my home course! It is a very fun par 9 that is taken very good care of. The only downside is that in the mornings the greens and areas around them can be extremely wet making shots approaching the green quite tricky.. under $13 to walk and under $20 to take a cart. 2 par 5’s, 3 par 3’s 4 par 4’s The greens are pretty small so it’s a great place to work on your accuracy and I’ve found really helps with far iron shots to the green when I’m playing on a 18 hole course with larger greens. The new clubhouse is a huge improvement from the old building and they have an expand…

Pace of Play is abysmal. It took 1h15m to play two holes. Don’t come here if you have anywhere to be. I think I could play 18 holes faster at another place than 9 holes here.

Cheap golf, layout is decent but conditions weren’t great. Greens super soft and covered in sand.

Always a great gem. Course is a great 9 hole course. But we were only able to play 7 holes before we had to quit today because of heat. 845 tee time but it was just too much for us old fellows. Even with handicap flags it is becoming to much for us with our disabilities. We love the okc courses and Stewart is a hidden gem. Challenging holes and 2 par fives. So for you healthy younger guys it's really a great place to play a round of golf. AND, the restaurant is great!!!!. Great cooks and service. New clubhouse and facilities. You will love it.

Normally enjoy this place but today it's been terrible. Overbooked. Can't even play as a twosome so we joined another group. Might get one swing every 15-20 minutes. People don't know the etiquette so it's hurry up and wait. It's a 9 hole course and there's probably 50-60 people out here. It's just terrible I can't even play at this point so I'm just riding. The people who book nees to figure that out better. Come here to relax so a complete waste of money today. Hopefully next week they have someone else booking times

I normally enjoy taking my older brother, who is 73, with me, 65, to golf at James E Stewart. But yesterday the club pro told us to speed up play because we were a hole behind, even after letting 3 groups go ahead of us. I tried to explain that we were doing our best, but he wasn't hearing that. He said to speed up. Might not be back.
