In summary

Jimmie Austin Golf Club is highly praised for its beautiful and challenging course layout, well-maintained greens, and excellent practice facilities. The staff is often described as friendly and professional, contributing to a positive overall experience. However, some visitors express frustration with membership policies and fees, as well as limited public tee time availability, which can detract from the otherwise favorable impression of the club.

I have the most beautiful experience for my wedding reception at Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club last August 2022. Shelly Beedle is the most professional wedding coordinator you can imagine. The venue offers an spectacular selection of options for all prices. They are also extremely flexible with options and take the time to meet your expectations. Responsible, friendly, and welcoming to everyone. The Good: Shelly makes a wedding a very easy experience. The Bad: Nothing I can count The Ugly: As an OU Golf Club, they do not offer any discounts to OU employee's. Nothing that Shelly has control on or…

I was able to attend the Compliance Solutions golf tournament this past weekend. Such a beautiful course and some amazing golfers. Had a great time at this event.

This golf course is a truly beautiful and well designed golf course. It’s extremely challenging from the tips. But playing the combination tees will offer some great risk/rewards shots. Suggestions don’t try to be a hero playing back. Have fun and enjoy this amazing course.

Seemed to be coming out of a renovation/repair and/or winter time. Some newly sodded areas, especially the collars around the greens. Routing was pretty interesting tho and bunkers were really cool. Also the flattest tee boxes I've ever seen, seemed like they rolled them, which was awesome. Greens were also true and above average smooth.

Played the course today. First time since 2021. Was disappointed in the greens .ost of all. These were not the greens of a $100+ course. I've played better greens on OKC municipal courses.

This course is long and challenging. There are many holes with great layouts including visually deceiving shots off the tee.

The greens were in pretty rough shape. The rest of the course is beautiful but for the price really disappointed.

Definitely in the Top 3 golf courses in Oklahoma. Everything about OU’s Golf Course is amazing. If you’re a golfer you should have this course on your bucket list.

On their Website they say how one of their main priorities is to serve as an Amenity to the University and its Students. I was looking forward to being able to get a membership here while in grad school and then I’m told the waitlist is 2 years (and apparently I was going to be like #42 on the waitlist). I’m going to be graduated in 2 years—absolutely ridiculous. Doesn’t seem to be much of a priority. I live right next to this course And there are no semi-decent practice facilities in Norman which makes things incredibly frustrating.
