In summary

Westwood Park Golf Course receives praise for its well-maintained greens and enjoyable layout, making it a popular choice for both novice and experienced golfers. However, some visitors report dissatisfaction with the staff's customer service and pricing policies, which they feel detract from the overall experience. While the course is generally appreciated for its condition and affordability, issues with management and communication are noted by several patrons.

Not a bad layout of course but also not the best kept course around. The staff is what makes it a 1 star course with rude and short comments. They will also come check if you paid after you have started lol.

Westwood is a solid course and in great shape for a public track. The price is fair, and the greens were in fantastic condition. What it lacks is a true statement hole, something that sticks with you or challenges you enough to want another shot at it. The layout is enjoyable, but most holes feel pretty similar. Still, it was a fun round and I’d definitely play it again.

Been playing here about once a week since I moved to Norman over the summer usually around Twilight. I have paid $34 everytime and would try to get as many holes in before it gets dark. I was out there today and paid $34 and made the turn on 10 and Rick from the pro shop came storming out in a cart and demanded that I get off the course because I only paid for 9. I was stunned and said I had been playing out here for 2+ months and have paid the same amount. He then made me get out of my cart and either walk or quit. The whole time accusing me that I was trying to steal from the course. I truly…

If you book online it doesn’t include the cart fee, even when selecting the cart option, so when you get to the course they charge you more than what you expected. $50+ as a solo for this course is a little ridiculous in my opinion but to each there own. Probably won’t be back considering you can pay that or less to play a much more well kept course, friendlier staff, nicer carts, and overall better atmosphere. Sad to see a lot of these courses now being ruined by there management/owners. Save your time and money, go north to Edmond or south to Blanchard.

Staff is very lackluster. They charge a ridiculous amount and the course is worth about 25 to play but costs 55-60. They lie online. Once last year before they got rid of the OU student discount (used it the week prior) an old man in the pro shop told me no they didn’t have it but the only reason I came to play was because he said they did over the phone. They do not care about your experience they only want the money. Will give 2 out of 5 due to the course improving a little bit.

Westwood Is one of the best course around. It’s a greatly cared for municipal golf course and is definitely always an enjoyable time. I’d highly recommend it to anyone learning to play the game or even the advanced player of the game!

Played last Sunday June 29th, course was in amazing shape. Pro shop has amazing deals on everything, picked up a glove for $10 and a bag for 25% off…. Morning golf is where it at…..

Been playing golf for 20 years and have never had as bad of an experience as I had at Westwood. Got to the course a little over 3 hours before they allegedly "have" to have carts in, was told I can only play 9 even though there was hardly anyone on the course. Fine, really stupid given I can get 18 in no problem before carts in, but fine. Paid for myself and my playing partner, then went to the range, which was in great shape. On our way from the range to the first tee, the pro shop employee came out and accosted us, claiming that my playing partner hasn't been paid for even though I paid (a r…

The course was in pretty good shape. If I could give it 3.5 I would.

Worst managed course anywhere. They close driving range and course well before dark. They claim the city makes them do it. Greens are usually passable but fairways are nonexistent. Worst employees ever encountered. If you love golf avoid this dump. Agree with comment about 0 stars

I didn't play the course, but I did take my son to the driving range. They had some targets on the right. I thought that was cool. 100 balls for 14 dollars even. I thought that was fair. No complaints... forgot to take pics, sorry

VERY rude customer service at the Pro Shop! The day after it rained a few inches in Norman, I called to see if the driving range would be open- I assumed with the water that the regular 9-18 holes would be closed. The guy I called laughed at me, mocked my question about the driving range being open, and then proceeded to tell me the amount of rain we received last night and that they were closed. NOT professional! I hope in the future, whichever employee answers phones has enough couth about them not to mock customers and to answer questions without ridicule. Avoid this golf course. They’re r…
