In summary

Katke Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, impressive practice facilities, and friendly, helpful staff. Many visitors appreciate the course's layout and value, with amenities like a pro shop and simulators enhancing the experience. However, some guests have expressed concerns about inconsistent pricing, slow pace of play, and occasional maintenance issues, such as snow-covered paths and un-raked bunkers.

First time playing here and had a great time. As others have mentioned, the practice facilities are impressive, and the course itself was a lot of fun to play. Conditions weren’t perfect, but for the price, it offers excellent value and I’ll definitely be back. Living near GVSU, it’s not a course I’m going out of my way to play regularly, but if you’re on the fence about giving it a try, I’d say it’s well worth the visit.

Went to the Ken Janke Indoor Golf Learning Center for the first time today. The actual facility is nice as well as the staff. However, getting in to the building was atrocious! The side walk and path to get from the parking lot were drifted over with snow. If anyone has mobility issues, you may want to wait for spring.

Nice course in good condition. Fairways and greens were well maintained, making for an enjoyable round. Layout was fun without being too difficult. Great spot for a casual game or to work on your swing. Would definitely play again.

Very nice course, the pro shop has a vast selection of products. The training and practice facilities are exceptional. There is three practice holes to play when you’re there to improve your game. There are three practice greens with lots of room to practice your shot game.

Called three different times and got 3 different prices. Depends on who I talked to. We have a group of 20 seniors. Prices quoted to me were $30, $45, and today it was $55.

What a great organization. Brain is an awesome professional as was his staff. Veteran event held there, and we were treated as well as any course we've played this year. A bucket list experience type place. We will be back. Thanks again for such a great event!

On of the best values in the area. The course is always well maintained. Greens are receptive and also roll very well. Course is fairly open, but still challenging. Large driving range to go with new simulators and indoor/outdoor heated stalls. Staff is mostly college students, but they are friendly and helpful for the most part. I always enjoy playing here.

Considering the lack of rain, course was in very good shape. Good value. Snack bar was decent. And the 2 young ladies working counter were bubbly, very helpful. For college kids they were energetic, smiley, good employees.

I’ve been coming to Katke for 30 years, their prices at Katke since falcon head GC closed have been GREEDY, 10$ for a bucket of balls 35$ for 18 w/o a cart and $20!!! For a cart!!!??? I was told over the phone that the conditions were immaculate. How is the course charging top dollar for everything and they can’t even rake the bunkers everyday or put better sand W/O ROCKS. how is there so many divots on the green and on the course? It’s a school, teach these people ALL the jobs a golf course has to offer I almost forgot, I can’t tell you how many people were CONFUSED NON-STOP ON WHERE THE NEXT…
