In summary

Spring Valley Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly and accommodating staff, affordable pricing, and pleasant layout, making it a great choice for casual and novice golfers. The course offers a mix of open and challenging holes, with some visitors enjoying the scenic views and practice facilities. However, some players have noted that the fairways and greens could benefit from improved maintenance, and there have been occasional concerns about the condition of the clubhouse and amenities.

"The course layout shows great promise, and the modern golf carts equipped with club and ball cleaners are a fantastic touch. However, the playing surfaces currently need attention; the fairways and tee boxes require significant work, and the greens are playing quite dry, offering very little receptivity on approach shots. I’m optimistic that the new ownership will prioritize these turf conditions to match the quality of the amenities."

A great bargain for me on Tuesday - for $25 with cart as a senior. I like the course although it is extremely "tight" mainly because of the trees that literally prevent one from actually hitting the fairway. Coupled with the tiny greens - this is a very difficult course from the white tees. But this is a course to be played many times - so I would recommend!

Great course, usually quiet. Fun place to get a round in. Be patient as they work to rebuild the clubhouse due to a terrible fire. Go have fun and support this course!

We have gone as a large group 2 years in a row now and had a fantastic experience! The staff is great and accommodating and the course is great for novice players. We will definitely be back again next year!

Some holes are indistinguishable between the fairway and 2nd cut. Very open yet fun course. Foe the price you can't go wrong. The people that work here are some of the most friendly I have ever experienced and are the main reason I keep going back!! Front nine is very open while the back has quite a few challenges get with the woods. Overall a good course but could def use a watering and better manicure team.

This is a nice course that could use a lot of work. It is good for family and general golfers.

Reasonably priced and fair course. Staff is very friendly. This is an old school club house, which I liked...very cool fireplace. Lounge is mostly tables and chairs, as only two bar stools in total. Course is not overly difficult...Not a lot of water and no sand at all. Had a fun time, but wouldn't consider this a course for the serious golfer that is looking for a challenge.

The course is great if you can play a solid draw. A lot of the holes seem left. The fairways were still pretty long grass (like rough at other courses) and made it hard to even find the ball. Great staff though! Still had fun!

The people working were so nice and helpful. Very friendly. Fairways leave a little bit to be desired. Greens were slow. All in all we did enjoy our round of golf. Hot dogs were great. I like a more manicured course but we still enjoyed

Very pretty 18 hole course with a putting and chipping practice green. They also have a driving range if you’re like me and like to hit a few before the round. I’m 70 and appreciate the golden tees. The old distance just ain’t what she used to be. It has been easy to get on as a single as usually one of the nines has been open in the mornings.
