In summary

Kearsley Lake Golf Course is appreciated for its fair layout, well-maintained greens, and affordable pricing, making it a popular choice for both casual and seasoned golfers. However, some visitors have raised concerns about the condition of the carts, the outdated clubhouse facilities, and management's handling of tee times and course operations. Despite these issues, many find the course enjoyable and commend the friendly staff and overall value.

Have played this course for 30 years and love the layout and the greens, but the carts are TERRIBLE! Golf bag fell off of our cart several times yesterday with the last one breaking my Stealth 2 driver's shaft. Told clubhouse at the turn and their response was to give me a bungee cord to hold my bag... didn't offer to reimburse round or cost of repairs which was $150. Apparently, people bring bungee cords with them when playing kearsley for that reason. I won't be back outside of the city tourneys... ridiculous. IF YOU PLAY KEARSLEY, BRING YOUR OWN BUNGEE CORDS!

Greens were perfect. Course a little dry, but decent shape. Nice, fair layout, 4 sets of tees. Clubhouse old, no food or booze but quaint...needs work. WELL worth the price!

Absolutely awful experience, last year I paid $12 for twilight on a Sunday night, this year it jumped to $25 and we were pressured out early, the website said out by 9pm the pressure began at 7:45pm, when I confronted management they came up with excuses about having to start the sprinklers. When we reach the 9th hole the flag was pulled and the green soaked because they had already ran the sprinkler system. Management was very rude. We won’t be back. Beware!!

Unfortunately, I could not give a zero-star review. This place says on its website that they close at 9, but they tried to chase us out at 8. That is ridiculous. If you want us to leave earlier, put it on your website. They were rude and inconsiderate. We paid $100 in total only to be cut short. Terrible course — don’t recommend.

Club house needs a lot of work. Bathrooms are rough & not clean. Only one porta_potty on each 9 and they are not clean. The course is up to par for a city owned golf course the greens are nice the fairways are good and the roughs are light. The carts need work

A great place to have some fun golf. Very laid back. Bring your own refreshments as they don't have a liquor license. New carts in 2025!

If you would’ve asked me yesterday what I think of this course I would’ve told you it’s a decent course that has decent pricing. However, today and from this point forward, it’s a different story. I called the club house looking to set up a tee time. The “gentleman” on the other line asked what I was looking to do. So I asked for pricing on 18 holes w/ a cart. He replied $20. So I said “Great. Let’s do that.” This jerk then says to me, “Thank you for FINALLY answering my question. Come out whenever.” I then asked him “are you trying to be a jerk or what?” His immediate response was not “I’m so…

I have to adjust my rating based on what happened over the Labor Day weekend. On Sunday, two friends and myself went out around 10:45 on the front nine. Only the front nine was open due to bad rains the day before. We get done on the first 9 and pay the additional $5 to make the turn and play the front nine again. The guy in the clubhouse tells us that there is a group of 12 playing together and that they know to let people pass. It was not the groups idea to play as 12, but rather course staff thought it best to let 12 people play together. Eventually, we ran into them teeing off on the seven…

The guys i have delt with at the course have been pleasant to deal with. Theres no issues with staff, in my opinion. When it comes to the course itself, thats a completely different story! The "greens" have chunks missing. Some sections are even dead. Most the time they are rock hard. The fairways have grass but they are rock hard as well, to say the least. If you're off the fairways, bring your sand wedge....maybe. Its basically all sand but thats also like hitting off concrete. I get that its only a $20 course, however i have played many similar priced courses and this doesnt come any wher…
