In summary

Kicking Bird Golf Club is widely praised for its well-maintained course, modern amenities, and beautiful setting, making it a popular choice among golfers of all levels. The recently renovated clubhouse and restaurant receive high marks for their quality and atmosphere. However, some visitors have reported issues with the pro shop staff's attitude and the Marshall's enforcement of pace of play, which have detracted from their overall experience.

Was shocked when I found out this is a public course. Wow! Talk about a well maintained, fun and enjoyable course. First time to play and already thinking about the next time I can find a way to play another round here. Clubhouse team was courteous, friendly, and inviting. Course was a blast to play with the practice facilities offering tons of space to chip, putt and swing away.

Seen this room while checking in for golf, reminded me of The Chair Company. Anyway, it's a beautiful new facility, which I've only really visited for the purpose of golf. Popular restaurant within, nice practice facilities, good views, maintained course, and golf carts that somehow manage to go negative 5 miles per hour in the parking lot.

My new happy place! Our family loves to spend quality time together here while being outside and enjoying the beautiful Oklahoma sunsets. While my husband and son have played for years, I am new to golf and have really loved the classes offered by Coach Dallas. It has been so great in helping me feel comfortable in a new sport, and it has been fun to find community here so quickly. The staff is wonderful, and I truly don't know if there is a prettier place to spend time in Edmond.

If you haven’t been to see the freshly remodeled “BIRD” then what are you waiting for. The course is in great shape! The new clubhouse is incredible. But, the Lookout, the new restaurant in the clubhouse steals the show! This place has great food and a great atmosphere.

Outstanding renovation- grow in Superintendent did a superb job! Course truly has potential to be tour level - greens are multi tiered....Fairways are AMAZING - ball sits perfect on this grass. Everyone involved deserves high praise.....truly impressed!

Went there with some buddies on a Sunday morning. Thought our tee time was at 7:45 AM (turns out it was 7:40) - and was running a few minutes behind. Me and my buddy pull into the parking lot at 7:32 AM and was met with the "head pro shop" guy at the door asking how many people we have. When we informed him 4, he stated that we are "late" by not being 10 minutes early, and that he was going to push us back because he gave our tee time away. Sure, I admit you ought to show up to your tee time a few minutes early. However, the large, bald, and rude gentlemen was pretty upset for seriously no rea…

Well maintained course that offers modern amenities and state of the art equipment/facilities/services. Lightening fast greens and challenging course layout make this one Oklahoma's best.

Great practice facility. Not a good course. Greens are trashed with dead spots and divots. I understand the struggle but don’t charge $70 for trashed greens. The Marshall will hover over everyone and make you feel rushed the entire front 9. We’re in Kickingbird Oklahoma, chill out guys. Played many top courses in the country and those courses make you feel welcome and are priced very accordingly. Not this place.

I generally enjoy everything about this place, however a nice waitress accidentally spilled a tray of drinks on me (complete accident - not at fault) but the manager completely handled the situation horrible. She put this poor girl in a bad situation and could care less about the situation or her employee.... Completely rude and disrespectful.... I patronize the restraunt almost every weekend (and if not me, my friends and family) and was completely surprised of the lack of respect from the manager, to not only myself but her staff. So disappointed.....

My son attended the Youth golf camp and said it was the best 3 days of his life. The experience itself built his confidence and gave him a new love for a new sport. I want to thank Coach Cooper and all the other coaches for the time they took to give my child a new adventure in life. Oh!!!! And the Lookout Restaurant is well worth the visit.

They’ll find a reason to not let you play solo. Always gotta hit off their mats at their trash driving range. They always have stupid tournaments here. No point in going here at all. Plus it’s so overpriced.
