Kildonan Park Golf Course

The course is very nice to play. Was having a great twilight round on a weekday evening until the marshal came and told us “one more hole the head back”, when we had daylight for at least three more holes. I don’t know how many marshals they have but this one thought he was the king of the castle. After my round my buddy and I went for a burger and when I returned at 9:15pm (google says open until 10pm) I found my car and others had been held hostage as both gates to their parking lot were closed and locked which was an unbelievably large inconvenience as I live well outside of the city. I've golf here many times, and the course is in exceptional shape. Staff is top-notch. Highly recommend this city course. Has been very busy lately, and I totally understand why.

Course was well kept but we were kicked off before 8 plenty of light still out, this wouldn’t be a problem if they just let you pay cheaper for 9 instead of having to pay 18 when you barely get through 9.

Friendly staff, unique setting. We played this course July 8th 2017. The course was in ok shape, the tee boxes look well used are were very dry! The greens and fairways however were in great shape, considering the lack of rain. The clubhouse staff were very friendly! I loved the large trees and ample shade available on the super hot day we were there. #10 hole is a very picturesque and unique having to play over, or under in my case, the old rail bridge. Greens were in great shape today for Municipal tournament. A few rough patches on fairways, but they were marked. Cart was out and good service and friendly staff.

The greens are in bad condition as well as tee boxes. Cart paths have huge holes that could be easily filled in with gravel. Out houses are not enough and not cleaned out often enough. Bathrooms at the 10th hole not cleaned at all.

On Saturday July 19th my dad and i, as well as 2 friends golfed kildonan golf course. We had a great time golfing the cart girl was lovely, up until hole 16 when the Marshall told us we could not continue to play at 9:20, he complained that we had to leave and it seemed as though he was lazy and wanted to go home. It is very disappointing, as we payed for 18 holes and were almost finished playing our game. I would never come back to play this course again. I work in the golf course industry and this behaviour would never fly at the course I work at. Props to the pro shop and club house staff,…

Had a great time! 18 holes were challenging while not overwhelming... Service overall was great! That Noodle lasted 2 holes!

Glad to have played it on its 100th year anniversary! Fun course and conditions were great, especially considering the draught this year!

I am waiting at every tee. 10 minutes every time. There's nobody around to tell people to keep up the pace. It ruins the experience. It is unacceptable. It could be a good time. It could be a fine city course. But if you're going to run it like this, I can't come back. It's been years since I've been year, it'll be years if I ever come back

Very slow with rude Marshals. They told us to tee off at a 270 par 4 while someone was still chipping onto the green from 250 out. All of us are capable of carrying 250+ on a good drive…

5.5 hours for 18 holes on a short course is ridiculous. The marshall stopping by on the 3rd hole to suggest we play faster was even more ridiculous considering we waited about 10 minutes on each tee box. "Try to play faster to wait in line longer". No thanks. Course itself was in good shape which saved a ONE star rating.
