What People Say

In summary

Kingfisher Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens, friendly and professional staff, and affordable pricing. The course offers a mix of flat and more undulating layouts, providing a pleasant challenge for golfers of varying skill levels. However, some visitors have expressed dissatisfaction with the course's early closing hours and inconsistent pricing policies, especially for non-locals.

Really deserves a 4.5 rating as it deals with the same thing many courses are dealing with in OK with the abundance of rain and flooding this year. There was no wait to check in by a friendly gentleman and I started as soon as I was ready. The course was fairly flat and “it fit my eye”. The last day of July and I walked the course with my bb push cart. Who would have ever thought it was going to be only in the upper 80s in Kingfisher. Finally, to the grounds crew, many thanks for all the hard work that is never done. You made putting easy today for me.

It’s not a long course but it seems to be well maintained. Playing in early March the grass has not started growing yet. The greens were in good condition. The course overall is a simple design but still challenging enough for the average golfer.

Check the hours before you go. I went last night for a date night with my fiancé to enjoy the evening after work. We paid the twilight rate around 6 pm but was told that we had to have the carts back by 7 pm. I questioned him why they closed at 7 and not dusk like every other course I have ever been too. Wanted to charge full price even though only 9 holes were open plus over priced at $40 and if your a local you are treated better and welcomed plus only charged half price or $11.00. Dont like shady companies or people. I moved here 6 months ago will not and have not played that course due to the way I was treated over the phone. Will drive out of state before I play their courses.

Good value. Where old meets new. The original front nine is pretty flat with small greens. The back is a lot more modern with some undulation in the fairways and a lot more on the greens. Rounds are fairly quick.

Course is fairly open and short but they make up for it with some pretty tough pin positions. Always enjoy playing here. Greens were in great condition.

Good layout. Great condition as of May 2018. Cheap prices as well. It’s a city course, so don’t go here expecting a country club and u will be surprised
