In summary

Koshkonong Mounds Country Club is praised for its beautifully maintained course, challenging layout, and stunning views of Lake Koshkonong. The venue is also highly recommended for events, with commendations for its attentive and professional staff. However, some visitors have noted issues such as inconsistent bunker conditions, lack of range balls, and occasional slow pace of play. Additionally, there are mixed reviews regarding the food quality at banquets.

The course is often challenging. Blind shots commonly lead to apparent good being terrible. Experience is key. The greens are tough but in great shape. Fair play. Pace of play is not very good. They had no range balls available.

Beautifully maintained property in southern Wisconsin. I attended a wedding this weekend. I would like to specifically recognize Ashley from the banquet event staff. She is an amazing dedicated organizer. Imagine, for a moment what it would be like to not have her running the show, it would not have been as successful. Another staff member I would like to mention is Jaede, I very much appreciate her polite and efficient manner. I highly recommend this venue for your next event due to the quality staff members, cleanliness and outstanding food.

This golf course is truly a Diamond in the rough. A tough track with a 101 year history; Also 30+ effigy mounds that are over 1,000 yrs old are on and around this course. The course is challenging for all golfer abilities, the scenery is unbeatable. Eagles; Turkeys; Deer are all visible during your rounds. The lake view of Koshkonong as you finish on the 18th green is unbeatable.

Substandard banquet best described as "lazy". Food was awful and obviously no effort was put into the food.

The Good: *Greens were tough/tricky/fun, and plenty of variety. *Holes had some interesting variety and some risk/reward. *Overall the greens were in decent condition. The Bad: *Lots of ground under repair near tee boxes and greens - but not just under repair, it looked more like bad sod jobs, watering wasn't kept up, and now it's just dead/roped off grass. *Bunkers were bad/inconsistent. First one i was in was hard, the next was fluffy, the next I had to pull stones the size of golfballs out of it. * The layout is clunky. If playing the back tees, you feel like you have to play past the gree…

A GREAT Golf Course with a spectacular clubhouse view of the lake out the back!! I was having a great round for my first time there, unfortunately we got rained out at hole #12... after I dropped in a 30 foot Birdie putt... ;)

Great course with challenging par 4 dog-legs. Fun par 3’s that allow for different iron shots. I would highly recommend for all types of golfers!

Great layout (tees were a little shabby, but fairways and greens were terrific shape). Friendly staff and nice turn shack for beverages and food. Would definitely go again.

Nice, hilly course with some tight fairways… not many fairway bunkers, tough greens…

Was recently there for an private event. The food was ok. I finished it. Beef fillets were good. A bit on the dryer side than I think most would have liked. The drinks were poured well and the staff was top notch and very attractive. Great place for the event. Very clean and welcoming. Definitely worth it. The view out the back windows were amazing. Looking at the frozen lake.
