La Quinta Resort & Club is frequently praised for its stunning desert setting, beautiful Spanish-style architecture, and extensive amenities, including numerous pools, tennis courts, and a golf course. Guests often commend the friendly and attentive staff, as well as the resort's relaxing atmosphere and well-maintained grounds. We booked our room through a third party. Per our booking, we should have had a deluxe room with a private garden. When we checked in, the room was neither deluxe, nor did we have a private anything. We checked out the restaraunts prior to our trip, and due to health restrictions, felt that they had tons of food options. Unfortunately there was a "large group" so menus were limited. The room was comfortable, the pillows great, with an electric fireplace. The shower in the room got close to hot, the water pressure was non-existent. If you are here and have to wash your hair, so sorry. The pro…

We had such a wonderful stay at La Quinta this past weekend that I had to post this review. The property is absolutely beautiful with the stunning backdrop of the mountains to the lush landscaping, so many pools, and such a relaxing atmosphere throughout the whole resort. It’s truly an escape. What made the weekend even better was the friendly service. From the restaurant servers to the front desk, every staff member we encountered was so warm and welcoming. Multiple employees wished my 80 year old father a happy birthday. I can’t recommend this resort enough for anyone looking for a relaxing…

We had a wonderful stay at this resort—it’s truly a beautiful property, and the staff made the experience exceptional from start to finish. Every team member we encountered went above and beyond. From the moment we arrived, they took great care of us—driving us and our golf clubs to our room, picking us up to take us to the course, and even assisting with transportation and luggage when we departed. That level of service really stood out. The resort itself is expansive, sitting on 47 acres with over 900 rooms, yet it still feels thoughtfully designed. One of the highlights is the abundance of…

We've had weddings in La Quinta Resort and we also stayed in their rooms/villas. It's incredible! The rooms are amazing, and each has its own charm, perfect for getting ready photos for bride and groom. Everywhere you go and look there is a beautiful backdrop where you can take pictures. We've had weddings next to the famous La Case (where Greta Garbo frequently stayed), and in the golf terrain right next to the desert mountains. The golden hour is fantastic. We always look forward to going back there!

The perfect combination of old and new. The buildings, architecture and grounds maintain a classic Spanish-style charm while the rooms are renovated and beautiful. The property is stunning with many pools and activities — including tennis, pickleball and lawn games spread throughout. As a runner, I appreciated their detailed map of four different routes (including a half marathon distance AND a 20miler!) The bed was extremely comfortable and I love that there were a lot of lighting options (overhead lighting, floor lamp, bed stand lights, reading lights in the headboard, great lighting in t…

Phil was our guide on the property historical tour. There are two offered on Saturdays. I attended the afternoon offering. We learned about the founder, Mr. Morgan, and that the hotel just celebrated its 100th anniversary in January. We walked the grounds and made stops at noteworthy locations such as the Casita where Frank Capra wrote It’s a Wonderful Life. We also viewed the Villa where Greta Garbo made her home away from Hollywood. Highlights also included artwork by Diego Rivera and the construction of the hotel. Phil did such a wonderful job and really enjoys his role as the historical am…

We recently stayed at La Quinta for winter break. The property itself is beautiful — the grounds and setting are exactly what you would hope for in a desert getaway. Unfortunately, the way the hotel is run did not match the quality of the physical property. On our final evening, around 10:30 p.m., a very loud gathering with roughly 30 people began in the adjoining room. The music, shouting, and profanity frightened our kids and disturbed our sleep. We contacted the front desk immediately. Despite three calls and my spouse going to the lobby in person, the disturbance continued for over an hou…

We have stayed at La Quinta for many years but it has been awhile since we came. We stayed here when the hotel was still the most grand hotel in So Cal before it was bought by Hilton. Unfortunately the hotel has gone downhill and the rooms are in great need of repair. Service was beyond exceptional everywhere we went from the bellmen to the food servers. Hotel grounds are still well maintained. However do not rent out rooms for over $500 a night that haven’t been thoroughly monitored. We have stayed in the vintage casitas to gorgeous villas and this was by far the worst room we ever stayed in.…

Talk about a jaw dropping property! Our hacienda was adorable. The service was absolutely perfect. The text service was an awesome ability for any needs, from a clogged sink to room service tray retrieval. The property has MANY MANY pools. We loved our little quiet one by our room, but definitely found our way to the adult pool with a bar as well. Perfect combination of mountains and palm trees.

Shout out to Martha at the front desk for the incredible welcoming vibe and for letting us know about all the hotel amenities! Also, a huge shout out to Hugo, Salvador, and Josue from Morgan’s Restaurant — they made our experience unforgettable. They made us feel so welcome and did an amazing job introducing the specials on the menu. Such a great experience — we’ll definitely be coming back soon! 😃

In November, we visited the La Quinta Resort and had wonderful stay. Beautiful place with friendly and helpful staff. Stayed in a quiet Spa Villa (1895 -1896) and loved its 2 bedrooms and kitchen amenities. Very relaxing. Very romantic fireplaces! The Resort’s Fitness Center is sizable and clean. Thank you, La Quinta for an amazing stay!
