Lake D'Arbonne Country Club receives praise for its enjoyable golf course layout, friendly staff, and versatile event spaces, which are well-suited for gatherings like weddings and receptions. Visitors appreciate the improvements made to the course conditions, though some still find the greens and fairways lacking. Criticisms include the lack of rain checks during inclement weather and concerns about pricing and course maintenance.

This course does not offer rain checks if you get caught in a severe thunderstorm. Paid for 18 and played 9, it started thundering and lightning while on 9 and the Weather Chanel advised me to seek shelter, so I went in and asked for a rain check for the other 9 holes, and was told they dont do that and that my options were that I could leave or play in the lightning. Was treated like I was lying about the weather and they told me it was “just heat lightning” meanwhile outside, the weather was so serious, it blew a branch out of a tree and busted my cars windshield, and they still did nothing…

Course is in the worst shape out of any course in the area by far, 40$ for green fee and 15$ for a rider is ridiculous. Greens are horrible and “fairways “ you might as well be playing in the field behind your house. You’re better off going anywhere else.

We had a good time playing the course and it has gotten a lot better in the last year or so. Keep improving weekly to get the course back into the shape it was 20 years or more ago. Hats off to yall for making the needed staff changes to get the course back into good playing conditions

I didn't manage any pictures, but attended a wedding reception out here. It was a nice place, seemed to fit the golf country club theme, but I also did not get to play any rounds on the course. I can say that the grounds seem very well maintained, there were no objects on the road when most other roads in the area had debris from a recent storm. Overall 4/5 but a golfer would probably have a much different opinion.

The experience of prom was great and the bathrooms were very spacious. The space itself was a good size. It was a very versatile place.

Good little course for the price. Green's were in good shape. Don't expect a PGA course but fun. Very friendly

Overall other than a must stay on fairway drives due to hard bare spot as rough, the greens are slow but very consistent

The only country club and golf course in Union Parish. It does have a landing to the lake as well.
