In summary

Lake Erie Metropark is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, beautiful natural setting, and friendly, helpful staff. Many golfers appreciate the challenging layout and the presence of wildlife, which adds to the overall experience. However, some visitors have noted issues with the pace of play, particularly during twilight hours, and have expressed concerns about the condition of the driving range.

Had a great time and the staff was helpful and very friendly! Other than the cotton (AKA summer snow) and all the extra water we've gotten over the last few days, the course was well maintained.

For this time of year the course was in spectacular condition with the fairways clean and the greens were in good shape. Would just like to thank the staff for the job they are doing.

Overall good course, a few challenging hole but for the most part open. Only complaint is we were stuck waiting behind and ended up only finishing 13 before it got dark… backed up on a Friday evening.

First the good: this course is always in good condition and you are immersed in nature while playing. The bad: when playing twilight, the staff pushes you off early so they can go home. Also, The grass driving range is awful. For as good condition as they keep the course, you would think they would do the same for the driving range. It is a huge range with plenty of room to cordon off sections for repair but they do not do that.

Very nice golf course, links type. Nothing to complain about. Greens are well kept but we're slow, probably due to rain the day before. Would play again anytime

A nice golf course. Well cared for with good fairways and nice greens. Water hazards and sand traps. A challenging course lots of dog legs. I enjoyed golfing there..

Personally, I am not a golfer, but enjoy being here for UM-Dearborn Men's Hockey golf outings.

Hidden gem of a golf course emersed in wildlife. We had a strutting turkey on a par 3 green. 30 deer on the driving range. Geese were battling in the ponds. Eagle and Osprey circling + visible nests.

Course is in great shape as always. Always enjoy a trip out there. Saw a couple of bald eagles today as well. July 5, 2024 Another trip out to Erie and it didn't disappoint. Met up with a good friend and took my youngest out too. Good trip going back next week for my Birthday. Gonna be awesome wish they had scramble events to play in. That would be awesome
