My husband and I just hosted my daughter's wedding reception at Lakeshore Yacht and Country Club in Cicero. Our guests cannot stop raving about what a wonderful time they had.The weather was beautiful so the view was incredible. The food was fantastic and the wait staff saw to our every need. Many compliments on how friendly the entire staff was! When the party extended past our allotted time, the staff graciously agreed to give us another half hour and just switched the bar to a tab. Had my wedding there this past weekend and could not have asked for a better time. Friends and Family loved the view of the lake, the weather was perfect as the breeze was just right. Thom and the staff were more than helpful and made our experience better than we expected. Everyone complemented us on choosing our venue and our food selection as everything came out delicious.

Enjoyed a round of golf, today. The pro shop staff was very pleasant and attentive, promptly meeting me as I drove up, to take my clubs to a cart. Took advantage of the beautiful day and lake view by having lunch on the deck. The food was delicious ( had the greens pizza) and our waitress was friendly and efficient.

Tried to contact someone to plan an event but after multiple calls, e-mails and even showing up in person I was never able to get in contact with anyone. I got one response by e-mail and then didn’t hear anymore from them. They also don’t answer their phone and when we went in person, someone went to go get the manager and they never bothered to show up to speak to us. The outside of the building also does not look clean, it’s moldy and full of web-cobs, you can tell they don’t do maintenance. Very unprofessional and disappointing but I’m glad we saw the place in person.

Absolutely stunning venue! Just had my bridal shower here that was hosted in the ballroom. Highly, highly recommend! The ballroom is spacious, has large tables, modern, comfortable chairs, an INCREDIBLE view of the water, the food was amazing, and all the staff were so friendly. Shelly helped me out the whole planning process and was very responsive, professional, friendly, and accommodating! Thank you, Shelly!! Will for sure use this venue again for future events!

I had a very pleasant experience planning a high school reunion at Lakeshore Country Club! Not only was the venue gorgeous with fantastic views of the lake, the staff members were all fantastic. My main point of contact, Shelly, made herself readily available by phone or email and allowed me the time I needed to set up for the event. She even helped with things like hanging banners and provided food for me when I unexpectedly became very hungry while setting up! During the event, the staff were friendly and attentive. We just had our daughter’s bridal shower at Lakeshore Yacht and Country Club and it was perfect! The food was delicious, the setting breathtakingly beautiful, staff were so pleasant and accommodating. Very professional with great personalities. Coordinator was fast to respond and so easy to work with and went out of her way to make everything perfect for the occasion. Great value for pricing compared to other venues we checked out. We will definitely use for other events in the future and will recommend to our friends and family. Thank you, Lakeshore!

My husband an I went for the first time as non-members. My husband had the ribeye, it was cooked perfectly. I had the lobster risotto. Mine was very tasty though not a big serving. The food was very good but so many employees asked us if we were members or non-members. You felt uncomfortable saying non members. If you tweak that part of it it would be perfect. Also the deck needs better awnings from the sun. Most tables were exposed to the sun

We went here to look at it as a potential wedding venue. Event coordinator couldn't be bothered to show up, had to go hunt him down after waiting for 8 min in the lobby without anyone acknowledging we were then and then still was made to wait another 5 min on top of that. There were multiple guests and venue staff without masks on. There were lights that had blown bulbs in the main hall. Connection wires for overhead sound system were wires dangling out of a closet ceiling with no connectors on them. Very disappointed with what we saw. This is long but I wanted to share our horrible experience from last night. So last night the Hubs and I decided to try Lola, the new public restaurant at Lakeshore Country Club. It was also a chance to check out the club and the marina for our boat. Having never been there, we parked with the other cars and went inside. There were customers at a few tables with about 6-7 folks at the bar. After ordering drinks, the bartender asked for our “number”. I told him that we were not members but were here to try the new restaurant and look around. He explained that we were on the “members only” side…
