Lake Toxaway Country Club

I go there for work. It's a beautiful privately owned lake. There is a country club with a golf course, a fully stocked bar and a great restaurant. I believe it's a membership deal, but the property looks like a painting. The food is all prepared by some amazing chefs, who have a great support team. Service is wonderful, literally catered for you. They have different activities throughout the year, family friendly as well as those for adults. I know that the members matter most, and they are as accommodating as can be for their membership family. I'll definitely go back given the opportunity.

Very posh club but exceptional amenities. Service is really good with staff from all over the world. Pool was super for the kids and it is right in the lake. Members only so you need to know someone. You can also access some of the amenities if you stay at the Greystone Inn.

Words cannot describe how beautiful this 18 hole championship golf course is in late October. This course is perfectly maintained and challenging. Thank you Will, you have an outstanding staff.

Curious about the remodeling our office stopped by to see the new look. It is very nice, and a big upgrade. A great place to enjoy a meal and take in the delightful view overlooking the pristine golf course. A must see if you are in the area.

Lake Toxaway Country Club has a very interesting past. It all started in the early 1900s when a group of investors from Pittsburgh formed the Toxaway Company. After foregoing their initial plan to mine the land, they took on an even bigger project: damming the Toxaway River and creating a vacation paradise at Lake Toxaway. A few years after the dam was built and the lake was created, they built the Toxaway Inn and a 9-hole golf course. Tremendous golf, food, facilities and especially tremendous people. Greystone Inn guests get full access to club facilities, adding great value to both entities. Truly special place.
