In summary

Lake Wilderness Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly staff, reasonable pricing, and challenging narrow layout, with well-maintained greens and scenic views that often include wildlife. However, some visitors express concerns about the overall course condition, citing issues with dry grass, poorly maintained fairways, and temporary tee boxes. While the course offers enjoyable amenities like gas-powered carts and a welcoming clubhouse, there are suggestions for improvements in groundskeeping and on-course facilities.

Great people run this course. As the region was flooded, they remained open with 14 holes. My wife and I played several times recently and enjoy the course, rain or shine.

Poorly kept muni course! Horrible tee boxes! It's too bad the conditions of fairways and rough are so bad. Nice layout with fairly good greens. They have several tee boxes that have temporary mats...that have been in use for several years! But the overall condition is poor. Almost beyond repair! Now the good...nice carts!

I am not a golfer, but I do tag along to cheer for my family members who are. There were 5 of us and we had a good time for our first visit to this course. Our disappointment was how brown the grass was. We were even looking for sprinklers to see if there was a water source. Just saw a few. Also, the layout of holes is a zig-zag pattern that was a little confusing as to which direction a flag was from the tee. The scorecard map helped, but it is small! Perhaps hole maps at each hole would be better. The staff was great, and the gas-powered carts were fun to putt around in! We plan to go again…

We golf here nearly every weekend. A few words that describe the course. - Narrow - Reasonably priced - USB ports in carts - Narrow - Can easily see deer and elk on the course - Short overall distance - Narrow - Three sets of tees - Some short par 4 holes - Some long par 3 holes - Excellent but small greens - Narrow - You can be center fairway and blocked out by a tree. Seriously ... on multiple holes. Makes it interesting. ;) - Definitely walkable (I do). Worst part is walk from 18 to the clubhouse. Up hill. - Enjoy!! - Oh, and it's narrow. ;)

Could be a great course if they hire a new groundskeeper and put some effort into it being actually play able. It’s like someone’s back yard with rocks and dirt patches, weeds all in the fairway.

Great little golf course fairly short but with some longer holes greens are excellent tight fairways challenging

The way that old-time golf links are ceding their (dignity and) property to 'disc golf resorts' and 'dog parks', we should be glad courses like this from the late 1920's and 30's still exist. And I am. Keep on keepin' on Lake Wilderness! And after a rousing round of challenging (real) golf, while you're enjoying some delicious food at the 19th Hole Bar and Grill (not it's real name), remember to raise a glass to salute our Fallen Soldier golf courses; Wayne (Bothell), Druids Glen (Kent), and Kayak Point (NW of Tulalip Reservation). Sadly, these will not be the last to succumb to 'modernity' (d…

Always one of my favorites. The right price for what it is. Greens are always in good shape and the pace of play is great.

Fantastic local course with great rates and a welcoming staff. Greens are small with some narrow fairways. Watch for the OB on 10 if you have a slice....or a Bloody Mary or two.

THIS MAN NEEDS JESUS!!! Now I’m not gonna say his name but if you come here often you definitely know who I’m talking about, almost every time I come here I walk in praying for my favorite worker but when I walk in and see that man I immediately get on my knees and hope the next 5 min with him will be better than before. Idk when homies wife left him or what happened but I’ve never seen a smile on that man’s face, and yes I love my man even tho he’s made it clear he don’t even like me, I don’t think he like anyone. My first time at this golf course he was the one ringing me up, this man wants…

I love this course! Love the people who work here, they don’t stack the tee times, giving you plenty of time. Course is in great shape, greens are good! Price is great!!
