In summary

Druids Glen Golf Club is appreciated for its challenging layout and beautiful setting, offering stunning views of Mt. Rainier and a variety of interesting holes. Visitors often commend the friendly staff and the quality of the greens and tee boxes. However, there are consistent concerns about the condition of the fairways, which some describe as poorly maintained, and the high cost relative to the course's upkeep. Some guests also mention issues with pace of play and the availability of amenities like water stations.

This was our first visit. We are sp pleased with the decision to try it! Looked on Yelp for steak restaurants and on the list was Druid's Glen. It was my husband's birthday and he wanted a steak. The first attraction was that it's in our town on a golf course that I was unaware of but my husband knew about it. I looked at the menu and it all seemed worth a visit. So glad we went! We arrived as Happy Hour was starting (2:30 to 5:30). We were hungry and ordered a full meal. I had the Cubano. Hubby had the Druid Steakhouse burger with Wild Boar bacon. They have a Ribeye but he thought $39 was a bit steep. Started with a cocktail: the My OG Thai..Deeeelicious!!! OMG!! Hubby had a draft, Ancient S'mores Porter. He said it was perfect and he's worked at a brewery!! The food included a mountain of garlic fries. My Cubano included shredded pulled pork. Wow!! The restaurant is classic simple design with a floor to ceiling panoramic view of the course. Stunning!. On a clear day you can see Rainier. You have to try this gem.

Pro: Starter was really nice and friendly, I jokingly told him he is one spoiled child because he graduated from USC. Cons: Condition is probably the worst out of all the public courses I have ever played, and way overpriced. Usually, conditions on the fairways are bad, but good greens tend to make up for it, I mean tolerable. This one is totally bad all around. Also, this course really has no views whatsoever except for maybe 1 hole where the tip of Mt Rainier is visible. I rather spend my time and money golfing at White Horse GC, if I ever visit Seattle again.

A challenging course with some interesting holes that potentially take Driver out of your hands on the tee. driving range and pro shop are great. Fairways and tee boxes are not in good condition. Some fairways were like hitting off concrete. Green speeds were inconsistent. And apparently nobody fixes their ball marks here. I found myself repairing 5+ new marks on most greens (I teed off before noon)

Absolutely one of the best courses in the state. Tough but fair if you play the right tees for your game. They just hosted US Open local qualifying and the course is in great shape. If you're a weekend duffer the price may feel steep, but if you're looking for a course that's both stunningly beautiful and will test your game (course rating of 75.3, slope rating 142), Druids is an excellent value in King County. To put it another way, you'll have to drive an hour or catch a ferry to play a course of this caliber for less money.

Over priced for the condition that it is in. The greens are good and tee boxes are good but the over all condition in the fair ways is horrible. Not worth 100+ and food and bev and balls very over priced too (17.50 for 3 pro -v 1) a bit of a goat track. I would save the money and play somewhere better kept. Course lay out is good

Out of the 50+ courses I’ve played This is the worst I’ve ever seen or played and it’s an absolute shame. Beautifully designed and built course that looks like it hasn’t had a greens keeper in a decade or they grossly over fertilized and killed everything. The fairways were like dried river beds mixed with asphalt. Everything was dead, the bunkers had rocks bigger than golf balls and were too shallow to even hit out of unless you like snapping the head off your club. They should close and take a year or two to repair the grass because they shouldn’t charge people anything, let alone over $100, to play there. The pictures on the site are completely inaccurate. Will absolutely never be back. Photos are the fringe and fairway on 18 and the entire course was like this.

Good food and reasonably priced. We went for happy hour and our bill was just under $15 per person to include sandwiches, drinks and one appetizer. Burgers were great and they have the best onion rings around. Pork sandwich was fabulous but be prepared for it to be a little messy. Garlic fries are extremely garlicky so be warned. Service was great. A herd of elk wandered through on the golf course, so we had dinner and a show. Fun place and we'll be back.

Druids Glen is one of my favorite courses in the PNW. It feels like a links style course nestled into a forest. For the serious golfers out there, the course has a fun array of challenging par 3s, some interesting shot shaping opportunities (par 4s and 5s), some multi tiered greens, some elevated tee boxes, and some long carry approach shots near or over water hazards. The back nine is absolutely gorgeous and nestled into some incredibly lush green hills. Depending on how you’re playing, this course can definitely eat your lunch :)

Do not let the driving range give you an impression of what the course will be. The range leaves lots to be desired for that reason I say skip it. As for the course it's a challenge not a beginners course that's for sure. It has many sand bunkers and ponds left and right. Yes it's a fun challenge for sure. Plus it's all so well kept. Sadly we did have our worst golf experience today. The management helped make this one is the best experience top notch.

Not worth the money. $115 for golf and cart. Giant browned / drowned areas. Uneven bumpy fairways with lots of little natural divots and terrible grass. Greens are fast which is fine but NO ONE fixes divots. Rather play Home Course or Chambers for that kinda money. Views are the best part. And the tee boxes were in good shape.

125 for round with cart. I can do a lot better on price at other courses. The course just isn’t nice enough to justify the price. It’s a good course. But I can play other courses for half the price and the course conditions and layouts are pretty comparable. Disappointed to play off of dead grass in the middle of the fairways I thought the on course food was eye watering expensive. $20 for a burger to go

What an absolute gem hidden in plain sight. The course was in spectacular shape and kept me on my toes with a challenging layout. The staff are all wonderful and do a great job ensuring everyone is having a great day. This is a high quality course, reasonably priced. It will certainly be a location I bring out-of-towners to, to show off. Oh yeah, and the views of Rainier aren't too shabby either.

We are beginners, and have had 3 different coaches, and Max is by far the easiest to learn from, and it's not close. It's been really fun and rewarding. Highly recommended.

Druids Glen was/is one of my favorite golf courses. It was a Sunday, and we teed off at 11. The cost for one round, with cart, was $120s. The good news is the tee boxes, greens and practice facility are always well maintained. However, many of the fairways were burnt in places to the point of cracking. The pace of play was slow, it took us over 5 hours. They had two water stations with complimentary water, (Did I mention the day was in the mid 90s). The first water station by hole 6 was empty. I called the club house to let them know so they could fix it. By hole 12 we were at the second water station and it was empty as well. We were fortunate we saw the on course beverage attendant twice and were able to purchase water from her. Towards the end of our round, hole 17, a course Marshall came by for the first time and apologized for the pace of play and stated that they had run out of water and that’s why the stations were empty. For me, as much as I love this course, it was not worth the money.

The course maintenance has really slipped. There are some truly unacceptable spots on key parts of the course, such as the dirt fairway on #2. I know it has been dry but it feels like Druids is cutting corners on their water bill. It was not like this 10-15 years ago.

Nice track that plays tough. Conditions were nice, if not the weather. Greens were rolling pretty fast. The geo locating in the carts can be a bit of a pain on some holes. Restaurant has some good food options and the staff was all very polite and friendly. I would play here regularly if I didn’t live north of Seattle.

If your reading this and haven't played here don't ! So many better places to play with 10x better conditions . They don't care about the course and the conditions period . Your buck is going into someone's pocket not the course , not fair for the outrageous price they charge charge ! Go play The Home course for half the price

Played 8/18, greens are nice, tees are fair (barespots). Fairways fair with bare spots. Bunkers terrible (no sand w/rocks) outside of fairways the grass is brown and large bare areas. Value here is poor, this sb a $$40-$50 green fee. Much nicer alternatives for less in the area. Upside: the restaurant is nice :-)

Wow what a great place, a bit spendy but worth it. I suggest a cart, walking was a bit long.
