In summary

Washington National Golf Club is frequently praised for its challenging layout, well-maintained greens, and friendly, professional staff. The course's design, featuring numerous bunkers and wide fairways, is appreciated by many golfers, and the scenic setting adds to its appeal. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the condition of the bunkers, citing rocks and drainage issues, and noted that the driving range could use improvements. Additionally, the course's pricing is considered high by some, especially given the maintenance issues observed by a few reviewers.

Probably would rate about a 4.5, but felt it deserved the 5 over the 4. Course is challenging, and if you enjoy a day on the beach (sand) ... this is the course for you. Lots of greenside and strategically placed fairway bunkers. Staff I engaged with were all extremely friendly and customer focused and helpful ... from the Pro Shop, to the Starter/Marshall and even grounds crew. What I didn't totally appreciate ... apparently some golfers need a friendly reminder to rake bunkers, repair divots, and fix ball marks. Friendly reminders may be needed. That's why a 4 rating was considered. Fairw…

I loved playing here. A challenging course for sure. You have to play smart as the bunkers will make you pay if you get too aggressive. The staff is fantastic. The starter was great too - providing great tips for me as a first time visitor. The sand traps were fluffy - my only criticism here is they had some decent sized pebbles in them. Those should be sifted out. Driving range can be tough to find too - but again, this is nit picky of me. Overall, great experience and worth booking a tee time for sure. Last comment: the breakfast sandwich was delicious.

I come to the driving range everyday and yet the experience is still the same. Practice facility still looks the same since it’s opened. The maintenance crew is friendly and helpful.

One of the best golf courses my family and I have been to in a while. Great golf course and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Played this beautifully maintained course on Tuesday 14 March. Greens and fairways in great shape for this time of year. Challenging but fun course with lots of bunkers. Stunning setting with towering, beautiful firs, and houses on the course are set back far enough to be barely noticeable. Nice carts that are well taken care of. Brandon in the Pro Shop was outstanding - very professional, knowledgeable and amiable! I'll definitely be back! This was my 219th course played since May 2019! 👍♥️🏌️🇺🇸

Great shape, twighlight rates are the only way to make it worth it, 4 stars cuz the bunkers have some sizable rocks that screw up your wedges but I guess don't go in the bunkers lol

W shaped bunker in picture, supposedly 73 total. A great course even on a rainy soggy day. Friendly and helpful staff. Fair prices for a great time. Ill be back!

The course is alright, although many areas are poorly maintained. This layout has the potential to be one of the finest courses in the Northwest, but much work is needed. Absolutely the worst driving range anywhere. Not easy to get to. The range balls are at least 20 years old and dead. The range itself is a rock pit. Again, much work is needed. I can see why the UW golf team left this course.

The course is awesome. The bad reviews are just brokeies complaining about a $100 greens fee while shooting 100 😂 but all jokes aside, it’s hands down the best public layout in the PNW and an extremely challenging track. The bunkers suck. Just stay out of them and you won't have to worry about the rocks!

Enjoyed this track as an out-of-towner. Course design is Washington national’s best quality. Plenty of predicaments on this course to challenge golfers of all skill levels. Some reviews mention rocks in the bunkers, but that wasn’t the case in late August. Glad the bunkers played well given there are so many out there. Conditions overall aren’t bad for the price point. The UW branding throughout was cool. Most carts are UW themed, but we spotted a Wazzu and Oregon cart as well.

Awesome and challenging golf course in South King county. Farways are wide open (doesn't mean I hit them all the time...smh), greens are well maintained. Highly recommend to get the Oki card to play a few rounds.

Course is in very good shape and I was surprised we were able to play with frost on the grass. In New Jersey where I'm from we're not allowed to play with frost until the grass goes completely dormant which is in the heart of winter. Giving 4 stars because it is very expensive to play and the facilities are MEH! for the public golfer. The many sand traps makes this a challenge 18 but I had a great day.
