Lakewood Country Club

I absolutely love this venue. We love bringing our Photobooth here If you are planning an event, whether it's an intimate shower or a large celebration like a wedding or a sweet 16 they do it all for you. They have rooms with the different sizes, they offer in-house catering with tables and chairs for all your guests. Plenty of room inside, plenty of parking in the parking lot, and a beautiful area. The staff are wonderful. If you ever need anything, Jennifer and Karina will help you out.

My daughter’s sweet 16 part was amazing!!!! From working with Carina to get everything set up to the staff working the party I had no complaints!!! The guests from the youngest to the oldest parties to the last minute. Lakewood Country Club owe us nothing. One thing I would hope be taken into consideration is that guest are allowed to take the food home since we paid so much for it. To have food that was highly paid for thrown away because it was eaten up is throwing the guest money away. We paid for the food we should be allowed to take it home.

Every year I host my client appreciation party at the Lakewood Country Club and they do an amazing job making sure that my guest have the best time. They do a great job at providing different seating options and food options within my budget. Can't wait to celebrate there again!

Had my baby shower here this past weekend and everything was amazing! We brought our own decorations, balloons & dessert but the venue provided everything else we needed from catering, bartender, tables, chairs, etc. we heard so many compliments on the set up and food. Jennifer was such a pleasure to work with from the start, providing a tour and working with our budget, to even helping us create custom drinks that fit our theme! Event staff were friendly and had great customer service. Thank you for helping make our day so special!

This review is for the events side of the Country Club, not the actual golf course. We hosted a big birthday celebration for our mom and everything was perfect. Carina, our on-site coordinator, was great! She walked us through the process and helped make our vision come true. The staff was professional and super helpful. The food was delicious and we were able to stay within our budget. As part of our event we were able to also rent the space in the restaurant which allowed us a great dancing area. Had my wedding reception here and I have to say dreams really do come true . The venue itself was everything I had hoped for: romantic, elegant, and perfectly suited to our celebration. The dance floor was electric, the ambiance flawless, and the flow of the evening was seamless. The staff here is incredible and they made my vision come to life and they were so kind and thoughtful in the process. Highly recommend!

Greens are excellent and quite fast right now. They also just put more sand in the bunkers. Fun and challenging course!

We rented the fireside room for our annual women’s conference. Jennifer the event coordinator and the entire staff were absolutely exemplary. They usually responded to all our requests/inquires within an hour or two. The grounds were well manicured, the room was lovely and the staff was attentive and very friendly. We wholeheartedly recommended using Lakewood Country Club for your next event.

Yesterday, The Ladies of Long Beach 40+ hosted an amazing Galentine’s event at Lakewood Country Club, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Celebrated my husband's surprise 40th birthday party here. Jennifer was fantastic throughout. Very knowledgeable in party planning. Her communication and her team (Carina) made me feel at ease. I liked the venues selection of vendors. You really didn't have to think of anything. They handled everything. Opted for a dinner buffet on the day. Guests couldn't stop talking about how good the food was. You can really have any occasion here!

We recently used lakewood Country Club for a Celebration of Life reception. Carina and Jennifer were extremely helpful and communicative even considering we were late making a decision on the venue. The Avalon room was perfectly set up and sized for our guests. The AV worked forcour slideshow. We did an appetizer bar and at some point ran low on food. We didnt take into account that it was lunchtime and some people were hungry and filled up on appetizers. I asked if it was possible to get more food to set out.
